Well basically I played this game two years ago and back then I bought the original game online and got the access key sent to my email. I obviously don't have the key anymore and am wondering is there anyway I can maybe get the key re-sent to my email address that I bought it with?

Many thanks, Joe.

Did you use the key and set up an account?
If so you would just need to log into the account (using the email/account name you used then and password as well as the new 'security' feature--one of the complete names of your characters). Accounts never expire so as long as your remember your information you will still be able to access it at any time
If you never used it then...probably not.

If you dont remember you information (email/account name, password or character name) you would need to contact support to help you get back up and running (though if you dont remember your character name you might try looking thru old screens folders from gw to see if you might have taken a shot with your characters name in it).

As cosyfiep said, you don't need the access key to re-play the game if you've played it already. Just install the game and enter your details on the log in screen (if you remember them) - you then contact the Anet servers and they connect you to the game.

Contact support if you never played the game, or have forgotten your details (email, password. character names) as there's nothing we can do for you here.

For future reference - it's possible to save e-mail, or to print e-mail, or even, to copy the e-mail (or key) by hand - so, "obviously" is not the word I'd use there.

As the others have said, if you used the key to make an account, that account is still there under the username (looks like an e-mail address) and password you used before. These days you'll also need a character name in order to log in.

If you didn't use the key and/or you don't have it any more (for proof), you are SOL - but the good news is, the game is really cheap to buy these days.
