What do people mean with old school items?
These items don't drop anymore? Or have they changed in some manner?
And what about the max dmg items with only req 8?
Where can you find them? Or isn't it possible?
And my last question, can blue/purple items also have a value?
If so, what does them make valueable?
Thx in advance for your answer
edit: thx marty, that helped quite a lot :-)
requirements and old school

*Old school refers to uninscribable items.
*Uninscribable items still drop. Because there is an extra 'rareness' factor in getting a good perfect inherent mod they're more valuable for people that care about that kind of thing.
*Max req 8's still drop in all colours. There are no places in particular where they drop. I've heard a theory you should target foes around level 20 so that the requirements are generally lower. Don't know whether this is true or not.
*Req 8's don't drop frequently enough to be worthwhile farming. They're lucky random drops.
*Blue/Purple items are generally not valuable. There are some exceptions: super rare skins (crystalline swords and the like), max req 7's (possibly), and r7/15AL, r8/16AL (for attribute point pressed PvP characters).

Agree with all above. However, if I was being really picky, "old school" would refer to nerfed items that can no longer drop. Uninscriptable would be a better description of most "old school" items
