For the past 3 yrs. of my GW experience, I loved the holidays and festivals. I always attended the Wintersday, Canthan New years, and Dragon Festival (My favorite one), but for some reason, and I am assuming maybe because it was school, I always missed the Halloween event. But since I graduated, I can actually attend Halloween this year, and after seeing videos and reading up on Mad King Thorn, I am stoked. So I got 1 question, where should I go to party, and where do you guys go to party? Even for the other holidays? And what do you think is the best place for attending such holidays? I know this sounds awkward, but I am just making a topic, that's all

EDIT: SO much for the 1 Question XD

For me, Halloween is best enjoyed in Lions Arch. But that's where it was first held, so perhaps it's a bit of nostalgia. (And I never liked Kamadan much.)

Now that I think about it, LA may be the way to go.

1) Why not, my main is a Prophs char xD

2) Spamadan always seems cramped :b

All the traders go to Kamaden, so it is really busy. LA has always been my favorite spot. You do need to hit both places to get the 2 masks though

Lion's Arch. The decorations are much better there, it's more open, and it's the original. . Does Kamadan have a big, delicious smelling pot of soup cooking for everyone? I don't think so!

(with a quick pop-over to Kamadan for hat #2)

Hang in LA with a few friends and/or Guildies. Poke the trolls and watch the lulz commence.

I like both, but maybe Kamadan decorations more. Hell, Halloween's decoratons in general are stunning, especially if compared to the other event's ones.

As for other things to do, in addiction to normal celebrations, if you look in Events setion of the forum you'll see there's a few cool parties organized already for Halloween.

LA (because that was my first Halloween) or GToB.

Both because of nostalgia.

Oddly one of the places I hate the most during non festivals is the place I always go during the festivals and that is Droks. Also Tombs on Halloween

LA: because Kamadan is home to spam, people that charge 100K+ectos for everything, and afkers.

Also because it all started in LA.

Lion's Arch. Ahhh my first Halloween in GW in 2006. Didn't have Nightfall quite yet.

But Halloween after that in Kamadan is just bad.

That entire town is just high ping hell. Too many players, too much chat, ruins even the fastest connections.

I love Lion's Arch during Halloween, although ToPK is a close second for me! I also really like Drok's

Seems LA is the place to be. Funny, I go there for Halloween, but Kamadan for Wintersday.

While all the events are great, Halloween decorations are just fantastic. I usually check out every decorated place before heading for LA. For some reason, Kamadan has never seemed to be a party place to me.

Lion's Arch has to be the way to go.

on a side note:
As difficult as it would be, it would be cool to see them change some of the monsters in select areas of the game for a bit. Like maybe give the Aatxes in UW pumpkin heads

I generally go to LA for Halloween and spend most of my time in Ascalon City for Wintersday.

That depends on the holiday.
But in all holidays.

Canthan new Year and Dragon of the Dragon: Shing Jea, of course.
For Halloween I like Lion's Arch, but I always visit all Towns and some outposts to check if they changed something else. The Tombs have the greatest moon you can see around that time.
For Wintersday, I used to visit Lion's Arch. It's not that I don't like Kamadan, it's just... it doesn't have the same Wintersday feeling. The last Wintersdays I also spent a lot of time at The Eye.
And for everything else, you just have to party at the Guild Hall.
