What is the WORST trade you ever made

Loss of value, sold for less than worth, etc.

I sold a req8 15>50 battlepick for 8k once

sold r8 15^ench Dwarven Axe for 80e to buy obsidian armors

Also r8 15^50 jitte for 50e And r8 15^50 duskblade for 100e

Bought a bunch of elemental blades when they were expensive..took a vacation and when I came back they sold for 20k or less.

sold unded zhed for 650e...
sold few other unded/ded asia pets FAAAR under the current price few years ago...
sold req13 15^50 noninscr crystalline for ~80e

guess those are the biggest losts.... (even if all gave me win in the time i sold em)

Same as above .. I sold my unded Oni for 100k+ around 100e in 2007.

That's what it was worth at the time. Every bit was profit (I won it in one of the Halloween contests).

Loss over time = a lot

Hmm ... sold off my r8 bow collection in 2007/2008, only to see the prices skyrocket on r8's.

I had a 10/10 r7 earth Celestial Staff back in 2006, however it wasn't max damage (it was pc'd at the time around 10k lol). I used it on an Ele for a few months, and when I deleted the character I lent it to a guildie. The guildie eventually stopped playing near the end of that year ... and my staff is still sitting on his account.

Traded an unded Vizu + ded Zippy + unded Oni for unded Zippy. It was a good trade at the time. >_>

Sold my req11 14% Longsword for 1200e.... at least to a friend of mine.

R8 max damage bow that i had sitting in storage since i first started playing, problem was i thought i was worthless compared to my max r8 14% dam ^ 50%

Im sure when i think back i got rid of it cause it didnt have any other modifier on it......

bought runic blade req 10 1 week before eotn release for 150e, 1 week after eotn release, customized it though , 1 week after release people wt s runic blade 20e

Ripped off on a cele ox unded at 40k My only ever greatest canthan new year prize!

+1 to this...but tbh I love the skin so it's not a huge deal...


for mine...I would have to say just recently I was buying some daggers and was told they were r8 and went to go buy them and didn't pay much attention to the trade window...I know have a nice 30e pair of r13 +5 plaugeborn daggers.

A little more than 5 years ago, I sold a req 8 +15% in stance Sephis Axe for 20k . Also bought it for 1k, so I don't hold ''the worst trade in history of GW'' achievement.

Sold Max Blue r7 fellblade w 11% enchant or stance for 30k I think. Got it for next to nothing. I knew it was rare, but had no idea.

Dozen+ Kuunavangs at 70 - 90 ectos each. My fav mini. Bought it at the peak last year when it looked like supply had finally been used up. Boy, how wrong was I. Kept some of msgs to remind me not to trade any more lol.

Bought or farmed almost 2 stacks of Onyx when they were 7-8kish or more. Sucks to look at them... Would have been worse if I didn't craft and sell a lot of destroyer weapons back then.

Next on my list...

I bought Unded Oni 2,200e full ectos, sold 1,300e (900e lost..).
Also : BDS q9 Prot bought 310e, sold 180e.
Grawl Unded bought about 200e sold 160e.

And 3 items that I missed :
-Longsword q8 +5, I could have it, but he sold it for less than I offered...
-Eternal Bow q8 +5, he didn't see my PM and sold it for a few ectos..
-Dead Bow q8 15^50 (system got it before me xD)

I merched a R7 12>50 purple longsword.

I kept months on my storage but in the end merch it for space.

It was at the time when i still didn't know what is rare and what's not.

Never thought ask a price check for it =(

just after sorrows furnace release (the night of the release):
sold yakslapper for 10k (guy probably instantly turned it around for 100k+)

q8 20<50 FDS from chest in sorrows
merched because it wasn't 15>50

back then i basically merched anything that wasn't a sword axe or a shield (hehe warriors)
also if the shield didn't have an unconditional health mod (IE +30hp instead of +45 in stance) I thought it was useless and worth nothing.
merched so many dual mod diamond/amber/iridescent aegis because of this.

(I used to chest run all day errday after factions release).

also I had a white flamberge max q7 in my storage for 6 months then finally merched it for space. wish I didn't my only q7 max drop that I know of.

Merched a HoD sword when they first came out, before I realized everyone wanted them :/

it would have been bad if you did that after the nerf.

But since it was when they where still available i guess you lost 5k + mats.
