Back at the CeBit last March, MSI teased us with this marvelous 15.6 inch laptop named as GT660, which sports an amazing set of specifications but with a hefty amount of price. Here at the Philippines, it already cost 110, 000 PHP (equivalent to two and a half grand) Today, MSI is already launching its older brother (GT663) and its specifications are something that will blow you away.
MSI calls this laptop as the ‘latest’ and ‘greatest new generation of its G series’. Powered by an Intel Core i7 processor with a RAM set up to 12GB of DDR3-1333MHz clocking capability, this laptop will certainly make any gamers salivate on its 15.6” full HD or HD LED backlight display. It comes with a GeForce GTX 460M (1.5GB GDDR5) DirectX 11 ready. You can also choose its hard-disk ranging from (500 GB, 640 GB or 1TB RAIDs). Its optical drives are also customizable; you can pick a normal DVD player or a Blu-Ray upon pre-ordering it.
Other goodies include a Dynaudio to provide you with the most optimal cinema-like surround audio in your room without the need of speakers or fancy headsets. State of the art USB 3.0 ports, HD WebCam which can play 30 FPS @ 720p. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 support. It also comes with a pre-installed Windows 7 64-bit operating System.
Judging from the specs of this beast, this isn’t a question if the MSI GT663 is a gamer’s laptop or not but rather how monstrous this gamer’s laptop really is once it receives a proper review. While MSI has not yet revealed the official price for this laptop. I can assure that this one will start from 2, 500 USD going up (Higher than the GT660). Probably, MSI would release this laptop at USA on the advance part of Q4 or early Q1 of 2011.

Looks nice, if i was in the market for a new gaming laptop, i'd definitely consider this one..
For those who don't mind a little less features (less ports and no HD cam), you should take a look at asus G53 which will also come with the GTX460M, i7 740QM, 6GB DDR3.
Priced at around 1500$ without bluray and 750GB 7200RPM. If it's anything like the G73, it will be rather sturdy and discrete for a gaming notebook. http://www.xoticpc.com/asus-g53jwa1-...er-p-2857.html. Battery life in milliseconds as well...
