Oppressor's Weapon - Can't add them ???

Does anyone else had the same problem trying to put Oppressor's Weapon inside HoM?

I had a few Oppressor's skins split in a few characters, some completed the whole War in Kryta story and some didn't.
Those who had WiK done were able to put their Oppressor's skins in HoM, but the other ones who haven't completed WiK just couldn't.

Do I actually gotta do WiK all overe again on these characters? Because I've customized the items already, I can't just add the skin on another character now...

Can't say I've tried dedicating any of the new weapons, so I can't confirm this. But it makes sense that the weapons function as you say; considering you need to complete NF and EOTN to exchange the mats for each campaign's respective weapon. Granted you can just trade chat Destroyer & Tormented weapons, but you get my point.

Sounds like they still want a barrier to keep the Valor monument from being easily filled, and require some actual effort.

Likely a bug, and the Krewe is aware of it.

I have a Paragon that hasn't finished anything. Another character got him an Oppressor Spear and Shield and he added them to his HoM last night with no trouble. They're there along with his Destroyer set.

Added a bow earlier today with no problems. Keep trying

Yea I understand that they don't want the Valor Monument to be easily filled, but as I said, I've completed it... And I just checked, one of the Oppressors weapon that I've dedicated was in a character that made a few of the WiK stuff.

So there's no pattern here XD ?

Oh, thought you were trying to add the weapon on a char that hasn't finished WiK yet. Sounds like the standard glitchy bug that always appears when they add new content.

I wonder if the weapons being customized is what's causing the problem.

EDIT: Just tried dedicating a Customized weapon for a character that had neither completed EotN nor Prophecies - Had no problem.

Could it be that the OP doesn't have a tapestry hung on that particular monument?

Is this the problem? Did you customize them, THEN try to add them to your HoM? I suspect that won't work.

My paragon was able to add her already customized spear and her shield to the monument today, and she has yet to complete WiK or Prophecies.

Just to confirm, if you already have a destroyer staff, you won't be able to add an oppressor staff; i.e. one item of one type is all you can have? Because I can't add an oppressor staff with a destroyer weapon already in place.

You need a tapestry.

I was able to add my smite monk's oppressor's staff to the HoM when she had previously added a destroyer staff and they ended up taking seperate slots. However, it's worth noting that they were also two different attributes.

In other words, out of the 6 weapons I currently have displayed, two of them are staves.

I finished WiK with my Necromancer, got a Opressor Staff and dedicated it before they could be added to the HoM. All worked out.

If this is the problem then I'm going to give OP one of those awkward sideways glances.

Yea I customized all my Oppressor's Items, which won't explain why I some could be dedicated and some couldn't.

Also, I have the tapestry too.

You must be in your character's personal HoM to add stuff to a monument... not the account-wide version. This might be the problem which some people are encountering.

Ah, good news, our problems are being looked after by everyone's favorite bunch of internet superheroes.

I guess I don't play often enough lately - I wasn't aware that OP weapons can be put in the HoM. Now I have something to do (for a few minutes - I have every type)

Does this apply to the green weapons as well? (not the drops, but the ones you get from some NPC?)
