Blade Radio's Third Annual Night of the Mini Pets

"The wind blew an ice cold breeze as the decorations for the yearly arrival of the Mad King Thorn were placed up. Lion's Arch looked like Grenth himself might appear and create chaos. Tricks are what everyone expected, but treats is what everyone will receive. In between the King's appearances a group of Halloween helpers show up, giving out wonderful sweets and treats to all, for free. This group is known as Blade Radio! These people all taking charge of the Halloween cheer to give out gifts as though it were Wintersday instead of Halloween! As they all thought, "Why just settle for one treat when you can give many treats to everyone".

How do you plan on this to affect Horrorween 2010, Ghostfest 2010 and Hallowed Eve 2010 all held during your times and places?

That should answer at least part of the question.... Looking forward to the event(s). Ill probably drop of a few Minis myself if I see you or just randomly give them away on the day.

Good work last night-a great way to spend my evening with the party atmosphere. I was glad to have given a small mini donation to Dj Bacon. Thank you Blade Radio, for another spectacular Night of the Minipets.

im sorry to say tht , blade radio has pissed me off. moxie java had n event planned months before this ( a guildwars community approved event) for La int dis1 and u guys think cos uve been doing this for years u can push a new event into a different server. this disgusts me a lot and i think you really should think before acting you juvenile twats.

I think if you look at me doing this last year, you will understand their idea. I'm sure Blade Radio had no intention of doing this, but I had no idea of this event by moxie java, as I have found no posts about it on the forum. When you say it has been approved by the community, how do you mean this?

Last year, i decided to be a bit of an idiot (Not going to lie) and do the exact same thing. The response by the community was that they favoured Horrorween and the Night of the Minipets over my smaller event, and this, combined with an infection, prompted me to stop. I'm sure this "moxie java" has planned the event months in advance, but this event has been planned almost a year in advance. I'm sure if moxie java discussed this with Blade Radio, an agreement could have been made before this incident happened.

EDIT:By the way, I don't mean to speak on behalf of Blade Radio here, so if what i say doesn't reflect their views, I'm an idiot and you shouldn't read this.

I hate to see various groups argue about who got what district. This is supposed to be a party, and we're all here to entertain the community. I see no reason for all this bickering.

I had a great time at Night of the Minipets (and I also enjoyed hosting the Horrorween in the same district), and I got the impression a lot of players enjoyed it as well. I do not know where all this fighting over districts is coming from.

I agree how Blade Radio basically forced two of these perfectly planned events out of LA International, but I was dumbfounded, not pissed off about it though. I found it really strange.

I Would like to state something here then i will not be responding to anymore hate posts on here. Blade Radio Had No intention on "pushing" out other events. I was late with posting The Guru Page, but our wiki page and information was up on the blade site for some time now. Even Though those events where going on we where willing to work with them and share the district just like we did With Daniel Frozenwind and Mad Queen Malafide.

As Freebies did state, Night of the Mini Pets Is planned all year round, and we always do it in the same spot. I did not know about the other events Until after i had posted this and was contacted and by the time i received the note, The event had already started.

Blade Radio has always been for the community and when we do events it's for them. So I do apologize for conflict. But again we did not mean to push people out of the districts. We did the event for the community. And had i been notified before hand we could have worked something. I hope this clears something up.
