Your Hall of Monuments Rewards!!! | ArenaNet

47/50....just need to add a couple of minipets and four oppressor weapons. Not a bad system that they've come up with. I like that the items are non-tradeable, but you can spawn as many of the items as you wish on your account. As long as the GW1 and GW2 accounts don't have to be linked via NCsoft master account to get the HoM rewards transfer, I might actually buy GW2 when it comes out.

45/50. Damn, I'm gonna need a pvp statue . An oppressor weapons is gonna be cake.
mumble fly
whooo this makes me a very happy sausage,21/50

probably been asked already, but will we get a single reward (the one corresponding to our HoM score) or even the ones before it?

Go to your HoM and make sure you've recorded your achievements there. I had the same problem with drunkard, sweet & party titles. I went to my HoM, and sure enough, I hadn't added them there. Easy-peasy!

I've got Eternal Commander in my HoM and it is saying that Eternal Codex Disciple is unobtainable. This is a given with how the system works, but perhaps the Codex Disciple achievement should disappear if I have the Commander one, and the Commander one should just not show up at all unless you have it.

Happy that people are enjoying the application ^^

The Hall is such an important feature that there was no way we wanted to do that! It deserved much more, so the team worked really hard to make this extra special.
Lishy
Does it matter WHAT we display, or just the number of things?
ajc2123
I think it was meant to differentiate between miniatures, can be used by anyone, and pets, that are exclusively for rangers. Highly doubt there are profession specific minis.
Yol
Yeah, I've just been thinking that the team did a really good job of presenting how the HoM reward system works. Clearly set-out and very easy to follow (including the 'to-do' stuff), so well done!
Moiax
I really don't think anyone was expecting such a nice application to track all of this. You guys really do go all out. Great Job!

THANK YOU ANET!
This is awesome! 50/50 woohoo! I guess I can blow the rest of my money and forget about trying to get every single statue to unlock everything.

Sweet! I'm SO EXCITED about the kitty minipet! I've always wanted one after I fell in love with those lil ambient guys all over the place.
The one rolling around in the Menagerie is too cute.
Fabulous job Anet! I'm just incredibly joyful right now.

I've not done much with the HoM (as evidenced by my only having 4/50) so I'm curious about the minipet thing. If I put a minipet in the HoM, does it stay there? Or can you add it and then sell it? I have a Mad King I was planning on selling but not so sure now.

Good to see that there aren't any special bonuses for the e-peener limited minipets. I think that about wraps it up for their demand with a large portion of the playerbase, doesn't it?
jimbo32
@Roen:
If you just want the points, you'd be better of selling the King and buying a bunch of year 1 & 2 pets. A Bone Dragon will get you the point for "unique miniatures" just as well as that Mad King. In order to get a mini on Devotion, you need to dedicate it, so it shows as "dedicated in the hall of monuments". Once dedicated, it's worth quite a bit less.

Very nice job, Anet. One question though - aside from GWAMM, are there any other (unmentioned) titles/items/whatever that provide unique benefits or titles?

Really cool guys.
I do find it odd that this is sorta a GW1 player "armory." This is the first time people can look up another players stats. Kinda a weird change in privacy policy, etc. I guess requiring you to log in with your account/password would have been too tricky to code. But no big deal.

That's why undedicated minis tend to be more valuable than dedicated ones. Dedicated ones are just for cosmetic use

good stuffs good stuffs. honestly, i'm just glad that i don't have to get 50/50. it's also nice to see all the response from anet in this thread.
Twilno
Everything looks wonderful. Although I kind of wanted to do LDoA and TH, but I don't see any benefit to going for these titles at this point since I could just snag the remaining statues from easier titles.
I get that Anet didn't want to give any major benefit to those who spent more time on one title versus another title, but I can definitely imagine people forgoing some titles all together, just because of the limited benefit.

You can dedicate a mini to your hall and sell it afterwards - you won't lose credit for the pet. When you sell it to another player, though, make sure you're upfront that it's already been dedicated. Once a mini has been added to a Hall, it can't be added to another one (it still behaves normally, though).

Why all titles have the same valour? :\
So if im R15 in Hall of heroes,i will have the same pontuation as a guardian of tyria, not fair

You do realize you only have to be R6 hero to add the monument at all right?

Mesmers Are Bad
Hey, a friend of mine has a gwamm character that had a name change, just wanted to let you know that it still registers his accomplishments as his former name and not his current one.

I'm so happy this has arrived, and so easy to use. Thank you ArenaNet. And mini-pets are confirmed. Although that Orrian Chick looks a little weird. And the Black Moa ranger pet is back.
Essence Snow
lol 50/50 w/o a lick of PvP....good stuff!
New Buddha
Nice system, I like. Will be 50/50 once I get home and add stuff.
ChrisCo
Woooot 50/50, love this system very very well done. Now i want gw2 even more.
Im in SPAMADAN
are the points account wide?
jimbo32
Yep.
You get 3 points for any one PvP title, which is the most available for a single statue. The other PvP titles are worth the same as any other title. Go whine elsewhere.

titles in pve is the same.
For example:survivor r3 have the same valour as guardian of kamadan. Thats is unfair =( |

As for the HoM benefits, better than I expected and very well organised for the player to see what he has and/or needs to get which reward.
Very well done imo
End
I got everything I need except an opressor weapon and Obby armor...which sucks cause it pretty much looks ugly :\
Just gotta put it all in and wait for the damn thing to update
And these are 100% set in stone right? sooo like if I stopped playing until gw2 come out there won't suddenly be more stuff I need to add?
edit: dammit guess im also missing some minis xD

Yes but everyone you ask to list the titles in order of good to bad will give a completely different order of leetness so I don't see how it would be feasible to implement a title ranking to the HoM.

Yes,but there are titles more hards then others..
jimbo32
So are you trying to say that LDoA (for instance) should get you 20 points (for example) just because it's a pain to get? Don't be daft. The team has better things to do than pore over title minutiae. Like the Derv update for instance.
