Gwamm

just a question but does GWAMM matter now if you have 18/18 in honor?

It's an extra. You get GWAMM as a title in addition to the HoM ones if you have GWAMM (which is KoaBD r6).

depends really. If you've been playing GW all these years in preparation for GW2 then it prob doesnt matter much. But, on the other hand, if youve been playing just for the sake of enjoying GW1 in and of itself, then its a nice accomplishment.
and gwamm looks great on a resume or college app too, amirite?

If you have GWAMM on any of your GW1 characters, you can display it as a title on any of your GW2 characters (assuming your accounts are linked).

Where did you hear this? Anyone got a link? |

They are individual titles, so you can choose to display the title you prefer (assuming you've obtained it, of course). __________________ Regina Buenaobra Community Manager ArenaNet, Inc. |

Interesting, thanks for the link. Seems fair enough.

Im working towards Gwamm + 18 honor points, plus a full fellowship monument, and will be saving up as much as I can for Vabbi and Obsi armors while doing that.

I think they messed it up on this one. If you have 1 GWAMM in GW1, then you should be able to select only one character to display GWAMM in GW2 and not all characters in GW2. This should benefit those who does have more than 1 GWAMM in GW1.
In addition, there must me some constraints to display GWAMM in your GW2 character:
- Must be named the same as your GW1 character.
- Must have same profession (but this may not work since some professions are missing in GW2), in which case you pick any profession.
From what is given, the GWAMM title appears to have been watered down in GW2.

Yes lets force people to play the same character with the same profession combo (which might not even exist anymore) instead of having them try something new after 6 years
Also why code some artificial constraint like that for the probably almost non-existant percentage of people with more than 1 GWAMM?
And yes, it's watered down, because it's a new game with cool titles of its own. It also takes place 250 years after GW1 so it makes sense in that context as well.

The GWAMM title will be reflected glory for your GW2 character. And, if you choose to display it, a hint of how completionist your play style can be. There is no need to water it down or restrict its use. Most players you run into won't even know what it means.
By the way, I should have GWAMM by the time GW2 is released. I am perfectly satisfied with the carryover.

I don't think everyone wants to be forced to re-use their gw1 characters' name/s in gw2 just to show off a title. Honestly I thought there would be limitations such as you said when it was all just speculation, but the way they set it up, it seems for the better.
