Crashes on Client Screen. Freezes entire PC.

Alright, so i got quite a strange problem on my PC. My laptop is fine.

I had 3 clients of gws installed on my pc in various locations, i now have one.

When i try to open the client, i get the connecting to arena net message, the connected 100% or loading for updates.

After this point, where the game proceeds to open the login screen, mine does not. Instead the client hangs on the 100% notice and freezes. Client is classed as "not responding".

Futhermore, i am unable to open task manager to close it and it freezes all the processes running on my pc. If i open task manager before the client it freezes when the client reaches 100%.

GFX card is fine, other stuff works perfectly...have uninstalled and reinstalled.

what were you using when you had multiple GW accounts open at the same time?

just gwx2 multilaunch the one that come from a link on this forum.

hadn't multi-logged in a few months leading up to the issue.

gwx2 and gw multilaunch are different programs that do about the same thing with links to both on guru. The issue is that as far as I know gwx2 tends to permenantly RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO with the dat file. And if thats the reason then you may have to delete the dat file and start again yey!

hehe alright. problem was though when i deleted all gw files from my pc, the program still froze.

i got it to work by restarting and doing it over 9000 times, but i'd like a more reliable way of making it work -.-
