I know there have been at least one similar thread i found from search but incase this hasnt been addressed yet what is the most cost effective way to fill HoM?

The most expensive things you need for 50/50 are 1 tormented weapon and 1 fow armor, the rest is just the cash it takes to find the cheapest armors for you and your heros. Maybe the cost of a set of destroyer weapons. I'd venture to guess you could do 50/50 (not including titles like zrank) for 500e? that's prolly high-balling it

avoid money sink titles such as sweet tooth/drunkard, and instead work on titles where you can earn money, such as kurz/lux/eotn rep farming.

This is assuming that you mean 50/50:

For the Honor monument, don't get Sweet Tooth, drunkard, party animal, or the Z-rank titles (unless you want to grind the faction for the Zrank). You will most likely have to complete some of the elite areas (FoW, UW, DoA, Deep, Urgoz), though, unless you want to grind for some of the more difficult titles. The most cost effective way of filling the weapons monument is to get 2 Oppressor, 1 Tormented, and all of the Destroyer Weapons. For the armor monument, you have to get Obsidian, Vabbian, and Kurz/Luxon anyways, but the rest of your armors can be the cheaper prestige armors. I'm not sure which exactly would be the cheapest for your profession, but you could figure that out. For the mini pet monument, get mini rurik and the black moa chick for your gold and green requirements, then fill the rest with the cheapest white minis you can find. For the companions monument, you have to go out and get all the rare pets. You also have to get every single hero's alternate armor (but one I believe). The Ruins of Salfjalla mission (or whatever it's called) is an easy way to get some of these armor pieces, but not all of your heroes can wear these pieces.

You can synergize some of these. While you're doing kurz/lux rank, you can spend your faction on Jade/Amber for your Prestige kurz/lux armor. It will take longer to get r4 kurz/lux (required rank to get the trophy), but it would be more "cost effective". Doing the campaign vanquishes can also net you some pretty good money.

I would wait a while for the demand in ectos, rubies, sapphires, amber, jade, onyx, and diamonds to go down before you craft the armors and destroyer weapons you'd need. Right now, the prices are crazy.

also you should NOT be buying oppressor weps for the HoM they are going for aobut 100k+ and people are buying them for that much. I'd wait awhile for the things you have to buy(sweets,alc,party, armor weps) and go for the ones you earn(kurz/lux,VQing,mapping FoW/UW,Urgoz,etc)

Go for ones taht give mutiple points. Such as getting a PvP title. I've got 40/50 Already and i doubt I'll manage 50/50 though... that would require either MGHSoRM or GWAMM... I could get to 45/50 though :P

btw 500e is not that high as you can think. the economy is completely gone pets are getting expensive, weapons too, and materials are OUT on the enchies.

i had to spend like 600k to get my 25 missing minipets. 150k to get heros armors.
750k and i already had 41/50 in the first moment.

Seems that you're one of the people who have been caught up in the hype. Everyone acted like there was only hours left to fill their hall. I sold a monumental tapestry for 30k (wtf?). I believe that the prices will fall down. Of course by then the availability will be lower. So who knows, maybe you did the right thing.

Actualy prices was still "good" when i took what i needed and i dont think they will drop that fast. The minipet part of the goal is insane. 50 minipets?? buying the first 4 years white pets you are on 36. after you need to take more expensive pets . I did it fast thinking i was gonna safe money, its a risk but i think im actualy going to waste less than people that will do it in 1 month or something

In the long run, what does it matter which is cheapest - what are you saving gold for? You can't take it with you (into GW2).

^ That is true. I sold my silverwing recurve bow to pay for the zaishen rank statue and an oppressor weapon. I'd rather have 50/50 and the GW2 rewards the easy way than a rare weapon in GW that I don't even use that much. Saves me the time to grind a pvp title. I'm broke now (gold/ecto wise, I still have other valuable stuff), but I'm 50/50, so there's nothing I need gold for anyway.

And you don't need to be good to grind.

Really, I'm at 48 pets without ever buying one.

Personally I'm at 24/50 but then again I never grinded in the game so I'm pretty happy about that - will get 2 more minis and a couple of titles and I should be at 30.

god not good, i meant i dont have r6 koabd so people that waste insane amounts of money for getting that title feel just feel like meh.
