Make skillz a pvp title as per HoM

Easiest PVP title to get to R3, but its only available a few times a year. But it only tooke me 2-3 events to get rank 3, and other people should be able to use it as their PVP title if they dont have any others yet.

I really thought this was a bug in the HoM calculator, but it really doesn't count... and it should.

Mine does count in my calculator towards the total titles, but I cant tell about it counting for the 3 PVP points because I also have zaishen, hero and gladiator.

Only downside is players getting too competitive...but people are already are very competitive with these festival events, so I don't see how this could really make it worse.

If you look up a random player's account that doesn't have any of those titles, you could hover over the Skillz title to see that it doesn't count. I believe Robert Gee and Joey Knight both don't play their dev accounts, and are each 3/50, so they would be easy models to check.

Ah, I checked it on one of those accounts and it counts as a normal title, but not for PVP which is silly.

/signed, for the many reasons posted above. It's PvP, there's not much else to it. Especially since Zaishen of all things counts as a PvP title, too.

It makes less sense that zaishen is a PvP title while Skillz isnt considered one. I agree with OP.

I believe they didn't consider it a PvP title because of the festive/gaming theme as opposed to the more "serious" PvP modes available, but still, it's technically PvP (and maybe even the finest form of PvP left)...

Considering what they've allowed to award Gamer points last Halloween, I am much less interested in seeing this title designated as PvP in the HoM.

Sounds like another option for acquiring that one icky pvp trophy. I like options.

Thread Necrooooo!!!!!. This original topic was created over a year ago, so it is not entirely true as Gamer points can be acquired through the repeatable PvE Halloween festival mission.

That being said however, I do not see an issue with the title becoming a PvP title. However, I think Mithran has a point where it's acquisition is more difficult because of the limited nature of the festival events. If it was to be changed, I would like to see an area of the game opened up where you can play the festival events at your leisure year round (maybe re-purpose the old HB outpost in the Battle Isles).

I think the reasoning behind the Zaishen track being PvP is that there are no separate titles for AB, JQ, or FA, which are also PvP oriented. If they were to remove Zaishen as a PvP title, then I would say that new tracks for the Factions battles be implemented for those of us who gain our Z-Faction solely from those PvP missions.
