Sorry if this gets closed cos it's been answered before - I read the sticky and some more threads but it didn't answer my question.

In the Followship section of my HoM, I have Imperial Phoenix, but I don't have and Animal Companion statue. Why is this? Thanks

The phoenix, along with Black Widow and Black Moa are one of 3 "rare" pets that get their own unique HoM statue.

The Animal Companion statue can only be attained by adding a pet that isn't one of those 3.

Basically what Gennadios said.

you need to level a basic pet to 20 to get the Animal Companion statue.

If you have the faction, this is really easy. Just spend your Balthazar faction on buying the levels and evolutions of your pet that you want to be 20. Then equip charm animal and go dedicate your pet.

When I added my black moa, I got the generic animal companion statue too. Quite sure.

I believe if you make a pvp ranger and put the wolf in the menagerie, then come back on a pve char and tame it, it will be level 20.

Not sure if that's exactly how it works, though.

It should. Add your pvp char's lvl 20 wolf to the menagerie, then come back with your PvE character and talk to the npc and get them to summon a lvl 20 version of the wolf. You can then tame the lvl 20 wolf..

Thus an easy way to get the "Animal Companion" statue in HoM.

you could also always tame that lvl 15 white tiger that Furfriend has. flag heros to his grou and get them to draw him away from it. then you run in and tame the lvl 15 tiger and now only 5 levels to go for 20
