Easy farming still possible (W, R)?

I've read the "How to Make Money!" sticky, but it looks more like "How Not To Waste Money!" to me.

Back in 2006, I used to farm grawls with my Ranger at Port Sledge, with Edge of Extinction, Mark of Pain and Whirling Defense to get me some pocket change.
It was so easy on the brain it was relaxing.

I've stopped playing GW for a while and now I'm back.

However as far as I understand, farming has been nerfed a lot (improved AI, drop limitations, ...)

Is it still possible to farm in a simple way?

FYI I got a Warrior and a Ranger (who hasn't travelled through Elona yet but could I guess..). I'm interested in locations and maybe associated builds.



EDIT: just to be clear, the topic is not just about where to farm and with what build to get the most gold or whatnot.
It's about whether or not it's still possible to farm in a very simple way, about the existence of spots that require almost no brain activity to farm but still are somewhat profitable.

I don't think you can get more mindless than raptor farming. I've fallen asleep at my desk and still somehow kept on farming.

My Personal Favorite easy farming build. As you will see from the videos can farm some "high end" areas. But also very easy to go out and just farm feathers or random miscellaneous junk to sell. You really would need to finish Nightfall to get your Sunspear Title up to at least 8 to use Vampirism effectively.
