Since when are things like imperial accommodations and those stupid little rewards you get across all campaigns now worth like 20k a peice. for example imperial accommodations are worth 3-4 k for 20, when i use to be able to buy that much for 500 before 4th year.
Is it me or are things sky rocketing in this game, at least stupid things like that? I had ten people want to sell me tan hides for 50k a stack....O.o when there like maybe a 1k...

Certain items are spiking do to the release of the Hall of Monuments info. However crafting mats and the like havent been affected all that much. SOME have but general common mats havent. These sorts of spikes bring out the snake oil salesman in masse.

For instance, how much do imperial accommodations go for? what is the average price of one? 5gold? are they 3-4k for twenty because with twenty you can make 4 k off a "perfect (salvage?) (or is it id?) kit"
Because if so, these babies should be selling like hot kakes all through out cantha.

do you mean imperial commendations?
check the imperial commendation collectors for the best reward, divide value by number of commendations needed for each reward.

I think you got it wrong, a-kyle. Imperial commendations and similar should not rise in price. Unless scammers got active.
You probably saw TRADE CONTRACTS go expensive, the nightfall Vabbi ones, but they are different - they (and they alone) can be exchanged for rubies and sapphires, which are needed for vabbian armor, which in turn adds points for the Hall of Monuments.
Similar for materials - they cost a ton simply because the traders run out since everyone wants an elite armor now.

As someone said, it's trade contracts, people need those rare gems for the Vabbian Armor.
Funny thing is, I neglected Vabbian armor cus it looked like crap...but now I need one.
Oh well, my Paragon finally gets a presteige armor lol.

Ive luved this update. Made a killing from my hoardes of minipets, and from powertrading the items people are going gaga over.
To answer OP's question, the announcement has made people actually start filling their hom with the things, and as they start needing them people can sell them for more.
Trade contracts, and armor materials are in high demand as are oppressor weapons, destroyer weapons, and tormenteds + hero armors.

The person who bought the minis was in a hurry and drug me into her HoM while she dedicated her new minis. She was chatting with another friend in the group and said that she had gone through 50e so far in 2 hours work of filling her HoM. I'm sure that's not much in the grand scheme of things...but it's certainly more than I've ever had at one time.
If anything this is helping redistribute some wealth out there. Those that are hardcore and have huge fortunes to spend are buying their way to high HoM point counts. The rest of us are trying to make what we can off of them and working our way towards higher point counts.
I already had most of what I will have in my HoM...this announcement just gave a bit extra incentive to get out there and fill in the gaps and finish those titles that have been sitting there neglected.
