I have a quick question about which chapter to start in. I have played a bit in each of the chapters and now decided I want to play as a ranger subbing either necro or paragon. My question is can I start in one chapter and then make my way into another chapter or am I stuck playing in the one I choose? Thank you in advance for the help.

As long as you have linked them your char can go to all campaigns. Also you can change your secondary later on.

Other than EOTN, you can start in any of them. For Prophecies, you can go to the other chapters once you reach Lions Arch. For Factions, once you reach the mainland. For Nightfall, once you get to Consulate Docks.

Get the starter heroes from Nightfall. If you have reached Level 10, go to Eye of the North and get starter heroes from there. After that you can go wherever you feel like going.
