I can't get multi-quote to work, so here are a few answers to questions you guys have had:
We clarified the arrival time of the vendor in the update notes, and the gate guard should be back now. Sorry for the confusion!
- You can buy as many vials of pink dye as you want, but remember that they aren't tradeable. So if you stockpile them, do it because you want to dye alt armors or have extra in case you get new sets. Don't do it because you want to sell them later.
- You can put these vials in storage so the other characters on your account can use them.
- Dyes will be on this special vendor, who will be in Lion's Arch starting tomorrow at 11 AM PST. She'll offer an unlimited supply of vials for 100 gold a piece.
- She's in place to support the breast cancer awareness effort of the Pink Day in LA organizers. We really felt that this was a fantastic cause, and wanted to show our support as well.
- The shade of pink is a light color - kind of like an Easter pink. It may look slightly different on different sets of armor.

Interested in knowing what shade of pink this comes as standard, as there are many ways of creating a shade of pink using the various dyes in game.

cool stuff. wonder if the new dye will be mixable or are we gonna get like a /datacrash error w/e we try.
edit for idea: wouldnt it better to just have an untradeable EL pink dye from the trader? the idea of me shelling out for dye(even 100g) is a really gruesome thing for as many armor sets on as many charrs on as many accounts as i have really hurts. So yea can we move for this for those of us that are'nt made of stacks of ecto?

I know some people have "pink ribbon fatigue," but I appreciate the efforts anybody does to raise support and awareness. This stupid disease runs rampant in my family and I don't want it. I'm looking forward to participating in tomorrow's event; the pink dye will help.

(We wear pink scrubs at work to support Breast Cancer Awareness as well. I'm glad to see the gaming community support a great cause! I know several breast ca survivors just in my social circle.)

100 gold for dye can hardly be equated to stacks of ecto {and it doesn't matter how many armor sets you have}
Another classic example that no matter what they do in game, someone is going to find a way to complain!!!

Seriously, one of my friends really REALLY hates pink, I am going to have so much fun trolling him with many pink armors and weapons. Thanks btw, love the cause and anet implementation of it.

pink dye is untradable so after the month is over you can't find anymore
so...would dying a weapon pink weapon and selling it in july make its value higher? it's rare since the dye isn't available anymore.

100g ea. huh? how about make the npc sell two versions of the dye, one single use for 100g and other unlimited for a relatively higher price?

I completely understand the cause, my sister had breast cancer, my father is recovering from cancer too. And I have a little share of cancer myself.
But why 'that color'?
I'm so allergic to 'that color' that I would had a stroke If got within 10 meters of the Barbie stand in Toys'R'Us. It's already hard to handle the shades of 'that color' in Asuran skills...

So WHY EXACTLY won't pink dye be available from this point on but only for the rest of the month? I understand that it's the current plan, but has a final decision been made as to whether or not it should remain in the game? (ie. Will a sufficient amount of player response sway the official stance?)
I'm not even interested in the pink dye personally. I just think it should be a fixture in this game and should've been for awhile now.
