Use Gold ZCoins to Obtain Minipets

With first year white mini's now going for 10k, it would be nice to have a way to obtain 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th year minis through gameplay. How about Gold ZCoins?

Maybe:
1 Gold Coin = 1 White First Year Pet
2 Gold Coins = 1 White Second Year Pet, or 1 Purple First Year
3 Gold Coins = 1 White Third Year Pet, 1 Purple Second Year, or 1 Gold First Year Pet

etc....

No, they are intended to be gifts for characters that have survived deletion over the years.

The game doesn't exist to handfeed you pve rewards.

As for the "etc" you threw in there, I'm assuming you're probably wanting to use zcoins to acquire the chest drops and contest minis as well?

easily solved, make the minis available for purchase with zcoins only on the character's birthday.

More like 50 gold coins for a first year.

But being so many, people would just get the Zkeys, sell them and buy the miniature, so it would still be a pointless addition.

Too much is easily farmable in GW as it is, it's nice to have at least something that's in short supply.

We have ways of creating gold or green minipets without character birthdays. If we need to generate white or purple miniatures somehow, we can come up with some way of doing thing, but it ought to have an attached cost much greater than what you're initially suggesting, and the reward should not be something found from the birthday presents.

At the very end of the article, Rubi talks about a Minipet Swapping event taking place today at 3PM EST in Lion's Arch Japanese District 1. If you want to fill your HoM it takes work.

No one gave a damn about minipets before.

Now that the HoM rewards are released it... OMG I really want a forest minotaur mini, because you know, I like it. Sure...

Nothing to contribute but another big fat NO vote.

I hardly have any minis added and I will pay the price now since I never bothered before. I shouldn't be rewarded for being lazy and getting a library of anything I want for a few coins when people sunk a ton of time and energy into acquiring them the hard way.
