Quiet and calculating. Ran rarely talks but when he does, people may view him as cold and uncaring. Maybe because he usually doesn't express emotion in his face and his words are direct to the point.
Ran acts on his own accord even when he is known to be a part of a guild or group.
He does love to battle and is sometimes seen participating in the arenas when bored.
Although most people will find him callous and arrogant, Ran seems to be generally polite with women.
How they are related
They met at the Northern Wall when they were randomly grouped as a party. They travelled together in Tyria with Dani (my monk) afterwards and had been friends ever since. They don't always spend time together though because Ran would usually go off on his own and Mina tends to meet new friends along the way. It didn't help that Ran developed a hatred against one of Mina's closest friends (Vale).
Some would think there's an unspoken attraction between Ran and Mina but they are the only ones who know for sure. Ran may sometimes appear to be flirting with her but always leaves Mina (and everyone else) guessing what his true intentions are.

Thanks Hydra! I think the coloring I did is actually growing on me. I have it as my wallpaper now. lol.
About the style, I don't remember doing anything special in coloring but somehow it ended up looking different O_o. I noticed that my collab pieces usually tend to look different depending on the lineart.

Oooh, the lineart looks really good, and Raven's colouring is very very pretty. :3 I've noticed as well that colouring someone else's lineart tends to make your colouring technique look a bit different. I don't think it's a bad thing, it'll help improve colouring since you're working with something different as a base.

Yeah, I used to do the really dark shadows too, but unless you're really trying to do a hiding in the shadows/it's really freaking dark in the setting kind of look, it will usually look MUCH better if you tone it down. :3
