3 weeks ago i brought a new computer, and the cooperative system is Windows 7.
My previous computer was windows vista, here guild wars worked without issues.
However ive decided to pick up the game once more.
And tried to install the game on my newly brought computer (windows 7).
Trying the client from the official site, i got this message:
"Unable to install
The installer could not write Guild Wars to the specified directory. Please check that you have administrative access, that you have permission to install programs in the specified directory, and that there is sufficient space availible on the drive"
Trying the Disc, i got the same issue. ive got over 700 GB avaible space and im the only owner of this computer. I also tried "Run as administrator" but getting the same error/problem.
Please help me.

This is likely an issue with privilege rights installing to "Program Files". What I would suggest is installing the game elsewhere - I have a "Games" directory I created off my main directory where I install all games (ie Guild Wars is installed to C:/Games/Guild Wars/"
What you might also want to do is check to see if User Access Control (UAC) is on or off. Now some ppl might not agree, but I would suggest disabling this. This might/should resolve the issue that your having - you can always re-enable it afterwards if you want it on.
To disable UAC go to your Control Panel, go to User Accounts and then select the option "Change User Account Control Settings", drag the bar to the bottom, click ok... and then re-start the computer if it doesn't automatically restart.

@Kamatsu
What you suggested did not work at all, still getting the same error as before.

Installing to C:\ wont work as on Windows 7 it is locked down. Just to clarify, you are defiantly on an Administrator account? Guild Wars is set to "Run as Administrator" and UAC is disabled but you're still getting the error?
You could try to take ownership of the Program Files folder, rather than me type it out and confuse you I googled this tutorial:
http://www.blogsdna.com/2159/how-to-...-windows-7.htm
Grant your account Full Control over the folder and all sub-folders and then re-run the installer.
If all else fails you could try installing to your Desktop or Documents folder.
