Was a fantastic event. Thanks to Malibu Barbie and all the other organizers who made this the best and largest GW community event to date!

From what Emily, Martin, and others told me about the event (I was out of town, so could not attend myself), it sounded like quite a spectacular turn out. It's awesome to see the community coming together for a good cause. Grats to the the Pink Day in LA organizing team for making the event an overwhelming success.

I have a question that rung up in my head.
Is the new pink dye a temporary one-time thing or will it eventually become a permanent addition to the game? Or if the pink dye will something that will occur in a yearly basis like Halloween?
Anyways it's really nice for both the players and ArenaNet to help increase the awareness of breast cancer. I hope there is a cure for cancer in general in the future.

I'm not surprised.
After all, boobiers are very important in GW, from the Assassin-sized to the Norn-sized, all count and are to be protected.
At least that's what I heard during the event: Over 500 chat lines saying "Save the boobies!".

I didn't even know about this event. I would have attended otherwise. Where was it advertised?

hey I was in that ribbon...somewheres down on the right end---
I am so glad this went over well, when I first read about it in the community works section (and went to the donation page) I saw little going on (so yeah I donated).....
but I think it was waaay better than anyone imagined it would be, 36 districts and with anets pink dye collector----wow just wow!
It shows to me that even we gamers DO care! (I need a tissue now)

That event was not only helpful to alot of people, but really fun as well! Made me glad I had logged on even for just a few hours to hang out in the districts...and bought a ridiculous amount of that awesome pink dye

Next year Prostate Cancer Awareness day yes? Good initiative, worthy of a followup imho.

Very awesome. It reminds me of when all the UO shards held memorial events for 9/11.
