* Preparations have been made for Halloween 2010.
* A number of new quests will become available throughout the course of the events.
* Some NPCs in GvG are showing their Halloween spirit by wearing costumes.
* Costume Brawl:
* Added new hero and villain costumes.
* Costumes and teams will be randomly assigned for each match.
* Game rewards have been changed to 15 Gamer points per win.
* Players no longer receive Gamer point bonuses for consecutive wins.
New quests, happy days : )

If the same changes are made to glad points and RA team formation as have been made to costume brawl and gamer points, I will actually play RA for the first time since unlocking TA. Each win/loss being entirely independent of any preceding wins/losses is a great idea and is a good way to make casual PvP appealing to casual PvPers like me.

These are pretty decent, in an over-the-top kind of way. Although they aren't really my style, I'm a sucker for costumes so I'm sure I'll get them. 
As long as it's just "useless" stuff like costumes, I'm not really bothered. Selling new content is also acceptable. But selling XP boosters, consumables, and the like is not cool.

yeah im in agreement with the above statement. Previous costumes were less appealing than combinations of elite armor you can get in game imo. These new ones from what is depicted look pretty hot. The temptation might be too great and i may have to getem. On the other hand if a very high percentage of people buy them then i may opt out b/c itll just be too common.
