Right Control key bind

is there a way to bind the right control key to something other than the language toggle? Is there a txt file somewhere or something?

If not, I guess I can use autohotkey to fix it, but isn't that detected and can ban me?

Using Autohotkey or such similar app to simply remap a key is neither detectable, nor bannable. It's only when you get into making macros which automate functions that you can get into trouble.

P.s. There are a few key binds in GW that have no way to be remapped in-game through Options and there's no text file you can edit. (Language toggle is not one of them, apparently - thanks to Star for pointing that out )

EDIT: depending upon your language and keyboard settings in Windows, Windows may detect a right-ctrl (+ something?) as a language switch. On this computer, the language/region was set to English (Canada), which included a French keyboard layout, until I removed it in Control Panel - I'm now not exactly sure what the language toggle was, but it involved right-ctrl.

yea and the Right Control key is one of them. Not sure why though because its only the language toggle key.

Eh? I have my Right Control Key bound to Targetting: Show Others. I know I had a problem setting it up that way, because of the default, but if memory serves I think it was as easy as going to Miscellaneous: Language Quick Toggle, selecting the keybind in the list, and removing it.

I know I didn't use a workaround.

You can remove the binding for the language toggle, but no matter what item in the control menu you try, you cannot bind the RControl Key.
