question about The Halcyon Job

I have been farming this quest for something different to do. I have tested different builds to see which is faster.
I have been running it with a 55 monk.
My question is, when I put the skill radiation field in, I end up getting poisoned.

I never get poison any other time.
I've checked the skills the luxon assassins use. I don't see that they have any skills that inflict poison.

I would be very thankful for any insight as to why this is happening.

You are probably not being poisoned. Radiation Field causes disease to all your opponents when it ends. Disease is just like poison except it spreads on contact with other members of the same species. Seeing as you are farming humans in that quest, they pass the disease on back to you.

Radiation Field inflicts Disease.

Disease spreads between creatures of the same species. The luxons are human and so are you. So when you inflict disease upon them, they spread it to you.

I was not aware of how the spreading of disease worked.
