Elite Armor in Monument

Ok, so I decided to take my assassin to HoM and there's a guy just next to the portal that can display all your accomplishments. I haven't played with my assassin in a long time and completely forgot that I got her elite armor. So when the elite armor was displayed in the monument I was surprised and then I was like, "oh yeah..." but the thing is I can't find the elite armor in my inventory or in my storage box. I mean the first thing you do after getting the elite armor is to put it on right? and I could have sworn I did...it's been a while but what if by some stupid error I sold it/salvaged it?!??!!!? If that was the case and it's no longer in my possession then how did the monument know that I have it, just wondering...and what other place might an elite armor set be placed?

Once you add an armor statue to your Hall of Monuments, the statue remains, no matter what you end up doing with the actual armor. Could you have salvaged it?

Otherwise, are you looking at "Personal Accomplishments" or "Account Accomplishments"? If it's account accomplishments, you may be seeing an armor set that was dedicated by another character -- it will just display it as if it belongs to the character who's currently there.

Yeah if you're looking at account accomplishments, it shows all of the armors any of your characters have dedicated, but it shows the particular character you're using to look at the monument IN those armors.

I see..maybe that was it and it was all wishful thinking. Well, I wanted the EotN assassin armor anyway so good to know that I didn't already spend 15k on one before. Thanks.

Well, you can know for sure by going into the Hall of Monuments with your assassin; talk to the guy at the door, Kimmes the Historian, and select "Show me my personal accomplishments." If the statue disappears, you know it belongs to a different character.

You're not going to get points for putting that sin armor in the hall btw. Since apparently you already have it for either some other char, or you've already dedicated the sin armor before.
