On a predesignated day in the not too far future (Saturday 30th seems good, just before halloween kicks off) at around 8pm EST (1am GMT) participants head to Shing Jea Monastery, US, District 2. If D2 isn't open and there's space in D1, that can be filled instead. If it's big enough, it'll spill over into the other districts anyway.
Characters arrive for a couple of minutes before the event starts with a transmogrifier tonic on hand and wait until 8. As soon as it's time, everybody takes their tonic and heads to the plaza where a few of us will be trying our best to organise people into rough lines to start a synchronised thriller dance (if anyone here fancies helping out with that it'd be greatly appreciated).
A short while later we'll disperse and empty the district.

Hello!
We're really not sure if anything like this has been done before in Guild Wars (or on a large scale in any MMO) but figured this would be about the best place to gauge feedback.
We're thinking of organising a Flash Mob. Basically just to see if it can be done and what sort of community reaction it'll get.
Any advice on dates/times is appreciated (I'm actually from the UK but most of the chars will likely be from the US so it makes sense to set it at a sensible time for them), also if anyone can think of an actual purpose/cause to this madness, we'd love to hear it.
Currently there are a few people interested but the event is being spread entirely through word of mouth/guild/alliance chat. Ideally people won't start spamming it in normal chat channels at that will probably start annoying people. Once a time has been finalised (hopefully today) I can start trying to spread the word properly and if some of you guys were interested enough to help as well, I'm sure it'd get pretty big.
If you don't know about flash mobs, there's a wikipedia article here. They can quite often get to hundreds of people big, though hopefully this will far surpass that...
Any questions/clarifications, please feel free to ask. Any encouragement, criticism or flaming also more than welcome.
