John Stumme, a winner is you!
That quest wasn't designed by Stumme. Stumme designed the 3rd quest in each set, Andrew designed the first two of each set.

There's 8 suitors in the map. You only need to kill 3. And there are three either inside or just outside the palace place.

The first LA quest was entertaining enough...
The second was annoying, but it's cool that we finally know what Rotscale's guarding. Wish they would have designed a new area rather than recycling the Depths, but I suppose that was pretty much out of the question at this point... :-\
The third was pretty run-of-the-mill and really rather "bleh". Was hoping for some kind of dramatic finale, but got nothing (yet, at least)...

About to try the Elona stuff...

Just a Tip on "Commandeering a Mortal Vessel"
You do not actually need to fight Rotscale just
enter the mausoleum behind him.

Solo quests like last year?

I don't think she was really complaining anyways.

Seems the fastest way to do Open the Floodgates of Death is to camp a spawn point. 3 minutes in and out of Joko's Domain by just hanging out at the door right outside of Bone Palace.

I have only finished the LA quest so far. But, for a festival quest that should be suitable for all levels of players, I think the difficulty is right on the money. The only thing I would change at this point is better rewards for HM. Overall I'm really enjoying it and it has that new quest smell. Its a fun way to make a stack of ToTs or two, and is faster than farming.

I have 10 characters that will probably do both sets of quests. I know I'm not the only one that will do the same thing. Any guess on how low a stack of ToTs will sell for in a week?

I also have a feeling they arent done adding new content. Something is missing. And I bet it rhymes with Lich. Why else would they have Lich costumes and NPC? All the other costumes have related to the event, the only one that doesnt add up is Lich.

Thanks Anet. I enjoyed the new quests. Don't really need the rewards but the humor was nice.

Well, after finishing them all, I've got to say I'm a bit disappointed. Each quest is alright on its own, but it all felt a bit disjointed and anticlimactic to me. I really prefer the 2ØØ9 quests as they flowed together better (IMO), had a great "finale" with the whole advent of Dhuum and all, and offered a gameplay-style that was a nice break from the standard fare.

Was kind of hoping we'd accidentally release the seal of something else through our acts... Possibly a certain other "Mad" being...

Ah well. At least I got 2 stacks of ToTs out of them.

I'm greatful for the new quests and all, but I agree they seemed a bit....meh. Two more stacks of ToT bags is nice though.

They don't really seem to be intended to be jointed or climactic though. Last year's ending cannot be topped easily tbh - the addition of a Dhuum-like figure? Sure, it can be done, but is it reasonable? Eh... Not every year.

And they were kinda meant to be disjointed - it's a bunch of random attempts at having Thorn appear more often... which wasn't finished/failed. So yeah, it's meant to be "anticlimactic." That's part of the humor.

I mean, It's the lunatic court - you expect them to be jointed? Shame on you.

I am HAPPY that they did not do it again....very happy
I expected the same thing we got last year, impossible SOLO quests.
We did not get that, I am pleased that the quests this year are quite doable with a group (or heroes)...and do NOT require you do solo with a strange skill bar.
a SINCERE thanks!

These were fun. Just the right difficulty for a festival quest to kill a bit of time. I actually went ahead and vanquished Joko's Domain with the help of those Guards. One nasty area down and funny screenshots = win!

Plus, there's still that Nameless Lich hanging out in Drok's, being cryptic and ominous. I don't think we've seen all that they've got to offer just yet.

Well, theres nothing saying that there won't be a final quest. We can hope that will tie everything together.

There's also nothing saying there will be, so best not to get people excited. The Live Team will only get bashed for it when nothing new is released in the next week, even if the criticism is unwarranted.

To my knowledge, as member of the TK, there is no more final quests.

But not everything was revealed to the TK. For instance, we were not told of the Nameless Lich until after it went live. And we weren't really told if it has a purpose...

Still at work so I am looking forward to going through the 2 quest lines should be fun.
I also agree that it would be hard to top the Dhuum quest line from last Halloween, maybe something with Fow. To be honest though I think Dhuum was also an attempt to slow down the UWSCs as well.
At least I won't spend the whole week Vaettir farming now. Couple questions
About how long does each quest line take?
Is Ever Little Bit Helps still repeatable? The answers above were not very clear to me.

Ya think? The in quest references were kind of a tip.

I believe the new quests will climax during the Mad King's appearance on Halloween.

1) Depends if you go to vanquish Majesty's Rest or Joko's Domain while you get extra allies. If you don't, it'd probably take 1-2 hours for a slow person. More than likely closer to the 1 hour mark. Unless you also mean the 09 quests, since they have new dialogue and are needed to get to Every Bit Helps, then closer to the 2 hour mark more than likely.
2) Every Bit Helps is still repeatable.

Ohh damn why am I at work now when I could be doing this. Well, seems like fun things to look forward to for tonight.
