lol, thanks, aero XD I wish we had a hug icon on here! I'm way over my deadline for finishing the story, but I'll definitely get it done in March! With thesis writing and after the last GuildMag issue editing phase, I'm just so not in the mood to write or fix what I've already written XD 1.5 more chapters to go though... I'm actually strongly considering turning one of my older short stories into a short comic, but I'll wait until after I finish up the story 
Oh, for your gif, I was thinking of having your ranger with a bow aiming to take a shot, but never actually shooting since she's just concentrating and trying to get the perfect shot (actually, just being lazy since it's on a loop and don't want to draw the frames with bringing the bow back and forth :P). Since you mentioned in a previous thread she's a terrible shot, the bow's going to be moving a lot and she'll do the whole eyebrow movement and tongue sticking out in concentration thing going on.
Or, I can do a snuggling with a baby animal gif (eskimo kisses!)

If you do want to read something short, 'The meaning of Freedom' and 'against the dark' in my lit folder are pretty short You'll need more time for the 'The Making of Heroes' D: I probably should have broken that one into more deviations so it's not so much text all at once...

I'm still seeing those line and motion artifacts on Windows 7 and not MacOS, so it's really annoying
I thought I figure out how to fix it, but it didn't work.

We JUST got internet over here, so I haven't been able to post in awhile.
Yeah, it took about 4 months to FINALLY get the house. They kept pushing the closing date back because our first lender kept screwing up with the appraisers. We could hardly believe we're finally moving, but now that it's all done, we love having our own place. Bit stressful and we're short a few things (like a refrigerator), but it's still great to be here.
We did move last year, but it was to live with my sister for awhile. That didn't last too long once Haitou was approved for a loan so we could get our own place.

Oh! Congratulations x 4 on the new house then <hugs>! Getting our house was so incredibly stressful, but it was so completely worth every headache and pulled out hair! I hope you have so much fun setting it all up! On the plus side, missing a fridge isn't too bad... one of my friend's sister-in-law moved into a house that didn't have a finished bathroom and had to take baths using water from the washer hook-up for a while until her parents finally helped her make it useable O_O
I don't know how you could deal with no internet though D:
And thanks I've got some stress-relief plans this weekend to start turning my Wintersday story into an actual (non-professional!!) comic book adaptation for fun If it looks too terrible, I'll rethink the plan XD

hahaha, *is slower* :P I thought I would have way more time for drawing and fiction writing with my thesis done, but instead I've been totally obsessed with playing LotRO XD I've forgotten how addictive subscription games are where it's like, 'must play 24/7 to get money's worth.'

I decided to revisit animated GIFs and step it up a notch by adding a moving background:

There are a few mistakes I noticed (like arm socket pivet is off) after merging layers together that I now know to be more cautious of if I want to do more GIFS. Also, I couldn't get it to flow smoother since I'm using 48 frames, which seemed to make Photoshop angry at me D: Anyway, comic is going slow, and I have writer's block, but I had an urge to make an animated GIF so voila

Wow, neato. Sounds like you made this animation through PS - were you using the animation window? Because that thing is a massive pain in the ass when it comes to animating.

Well, I'm officially poor since I went on a mini buying spree and picked up 10 new babies for my HoM (I totally blame this on the awesomeness of Konig and my new 3 WiK minis) So, I decided to try to make a 'kinda commissiony thread' where I draw for some of the minis (the non-crazily expensive ones that is) I need left for my HoM (all on the first post) since I can't afford to buy any more on my own until I get back to farming D:
If you have any extra undedicated minis (that's on my list :P) taking up storage space, feel free to offer one for a drawing I started collecting the ones I really liked before the calculator went live and stopped once prices shot up, so you'll see that I actually still need some minis from all years to complete my HoM
(BTW, I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to add a prefix while editing the first post. I know I originally had a prefix and found a way to remove it, but I don't see how to put it back on now T_T )

Here's yet another animated GIF attempt. This time I chose IH's Kimi (from the artist database), heavily referencing Magik's version (don't worry, I got her permission to do so first!). I had a helicopter like Magik's in the pre-final version, but there ended up being so much empty space that I just cropped Kimi out. Hope you like it, IH
