Maxing out EoTN Titles
Kilian Klawz
I'm aiming for the GWAMM title so I have decided to start with maxing the EoTN titles including Master of the North. My primary is a sin and I am aware of the the "speedbooking" build method. Which I don't wanna waste my time with so I'm wondering if I can vanquish my way through the ranks. I'll just finish up with books in NM & HM at the end.
*Edit*: I'm sure I can just VQ the same areas over and over? Just need the build for it. If there are any.

I doubt one vanquish through each area is enough to max the title but it would be quite a large chunk all the same if you leave the bosses until near the end..

If you vanquish every area and do all the missions in NM+HM, you'll be fairly close to max ranks.

Make sure to do everything else in EotN before rep farming. You won't have much to do after everything else. Usually the HM dungeon book is enough to push one of your titles over the edge, so you'll probably only have to farm 2-3 titles(depending on how well your NM book works out).
I wouldn't suggest doing Slaver's Exile in NM(that is, killing duncan in NM). It'll require you to do slavers twice, and the NM book will have 10k more rep, and you'll get 10 more points. A VQ of Dalada, Sacnoth, Varajar, or Arbor Bay can give you upwards of 10k rep in 1-2 hours, depending on how well you can VQ. Slavers will take more than 2 hours, and by killing Duncan in NM rather than HM you're missing out on chest drops that could potentially generate a good amount of profit, which you'll need to get GWAMM.

for slayer title nothing beats the Vaettir farm.
u will kill 60 of them every 2-3 min
think i maxed mine with moderate farming during 2 events

You will have to fill at least a NM book before you can start vanquishing EoTN. And you can reach rank 8 before HM is needed. Maxing the ranks with books is a lot less time consuming than one would think. Since you are going for maxing Master of the north too, then go through all the missions and dungeons in NM first filling the books. Then go with HM books and Vanquishing. That's what I did anyways. Just doing the dungeons and missions almost brought my dwarf rank up to 8.

Well, wouldn't you need to vanquish and complete dungeons (in both HM and NM) a lot too for the Master of the North title? Vanqing isn't by itself an efficient method of gaining rep points, but it's required for the MotN title anyway. So the rest seems moot.

For Asura, I finished out by vanquishing Magus Stones repeatedly. It was easy with a Ranger pet build and a modified Sabway using an interrupt Mesmer instead of the Curses necro. Fair loot and open some chests, sell a few tomes.
In general one or more vanquishes that you personally enjoy and have fun doing.

Do the NM dungeons and missions first, turn in those books for the hardest title (dwarf imo?) because I did the NM dungeons last so I couldnt turn in my complete NM book since all my titles were over R8 already....

I'd recommend not grinding any title until you have LMotN. So do all the VQ's, get your NM+HM Hero Handbooks and Dungeon Guides. These are all worth a lot of points, so you'll be able to hand 1 into each allegiance, and then take it from there by doing some more VQ's or farms. If you start grinding titles before you finish LMotN, you'll easily end up with 200k+ points allegiances, which isn't particularly efficient.
