The op is wondering why the person said that "farming" a req8/16 blue darkwing defender is a waste of time.

They are not nerfed they are still possible to find just going out of your way "farming" for a req8/16 is a huge waste of time due to rarity of finding them. That is why they are 400e+.

And this is for a tactics darkwing not a strength big difference.

Yes. Farming them would be feasible if you could get them to reliably drop. However, they don't. It's not like a collectible or material.
