In need of a build for Farming Golems

Specifically I'm referring to farming granite from the golem runestones inside of the second room in Oola's Lab.

So far I've only been using a 55 monk build:

Thing about this build is it is VERY slow and I can only take on a handful of golems at once instead of say running around the whole room and gathering them all.

I'm feeling there just has to be a faster build out there than this. I've looked everywhere and can't find anything other than a 55 build like mine and some dervish HM build, but I don't have a dervish anyways.

I could really use the help for some ideas. I do hate going very slow while farming. Or at least this slow that is.

I guess ur farming for granite - heres a little tip

Farm dcores instead, and salvage em - they give an average of 7 granite each

Yes, the part where I said I was farming for granite... you guessed right.

Anywho. Dcores? Destroyer cores you mean? I'll have to look up more info on them but fyi golem runestones can salvage for 8 too. I haven't farmed enough to get an average, but just saying.

I guess u'll be able to get more dcores pr hour than runestones - but cant tell, as i've never farmed for runestones

I just need to finish the second room btw and doing it solo.

.... okay I just tried that build and they kinda nerfed it. The destroyers now have vengeful weapon so if you try to get close enough to trigger silver armor you will die pretty quickly. You can though move just a little bit out of range for vengeful not to work and silver armor to still work on only a few monsters though.

Although this makes the farm really long. It took me 13min to do last time. So all I found was another slow butt farm >.<

This was on normal too btw >.<


So far it looks like the drop rate per hour is MUCH better for golem runestones than Dcores. I just need a bloody faster build for it >.<

If i were you i'd go farm something else to buy the granite. Farming granite is sloooooooooooow. I quit doing it after the first 50 slabs.

yeah i solod oolas spamming and yeah farming granites slow ... farm ecto then buy granite imo

Farming golems is just slow compared to farming in other places where you can just group a whole swarm together and kill them after a few spells.

Getting the actual granite is fast though cause it seems like every other golem drops a runestone so it's not surprising to get 50-100 slabs clearing the 2nd room only once.

If I could just find a way to speed it up maybe and be able to grab the whole swarm of golems and do decent damage then it would be extremely worth it.
