Also, to keep this on topic, a question: are minion masters/bombers useful in the underworld? I have a relatively new toon I think I could use in this fashion but maybe would be better to stick with my ranger...just curious what others thought about which is more useful down below.

Answers to questions:
Last Update:
- Due to the large ammounts of entries people will no longer be divided into teams. [Luck] will host international district 1 and i will do 2 run. The event will work as PUGS but with alot of people to party with. This means that it will be easier to find a group.
- Due to this notice, it means that anyone can be a party leader. For NM i suggest you get 1 SF tank, 1 UA monk, 1 HB monk, 1 SoS, 1 Nuker, 1 SS necro, and 2 additionals dps'ers.Consets make these hm runs faster and easier to complete.
- Assuming that hm people are experienced, 1 SF tank, 1 HB, 1 UA, 1 EMo bonder, 1 SoS, 1 SS, 1 Nuker and 1 Additional Dpser should be enough assuming that you use consets. Additionally you can get 2 SF tankers, one of which stays with the main team while the other one clears pools {no quest]}. The 2nd SF will also be a massive help in the 4 hourseman since he can litteraly kill 2 of the hourseman. The 2nd sf can also help alot in wastes, but i is up to the people to choose.
- Ritualists do not worry, you do not need to be SoS, resto rits are less helpfull than HB/UA but still work. If you insist on not going SoS i suggest you go Spear Rit, build which i can provide. DWG should work but many people prefer not to use it in Balanced Teams.
- Rangers might find it more diffiult to find a team but can still tank in hm with a EMo bonder. Rangers should try to go Splinter Barrage or any build that can deal the same build.
- Assasins dont need to go tank but its the easiest and most direct way.
- Dervish's should not try to tank since it will raise the chance of failing. Deep Wound Derv should work for nm but dervs are pretty much limited for hm.
- Paragons can go imba, but is up to the team to decide what they want to do.
- Mesmer could go panic or any energy drain/health degen build. They are extremly viable in uw
- Elementalists should go fire nukers or emo's in hm.
- Warriors could go hb or tank, or any other builds that can deal as much demage as hb.
- Necro's should go SS since its the most usefull build. Necros should pack br to help the monks.
- Monks should go HB or UA since smiters aren't vey usefull here. WoH also works, but HB party heal and UA rez are more usefull. Monks should make sure the SS necro bring Blood Ritual.

- Minion masters aren't very usefull since they agro mobs they shouldn't and thus pose risks that are not necessery.
- Anyone that wants specific builds should WHISPER me INGAME and check PVX wiki. A normal SoS build for balanced team goes: Armour of Unfeeling, Painfull Bond, Signet Of Spirts, Pain, Bloodsong, Vampirism, Summon Spirits, Flesh of My Flesh (or Rebirth for safety)

I think the only reason why luck is " organising this". Is to get more attention and recruits.
And luck representative alfonso portugal basicly saying... People come to int district and go Pug for once.
Get your selfs some cons 3 or 4 sets preffered and make a team. Get a build from wiki or whisper me ingame yeah right like you
Will handle 20 whispers at the same time.
- wheres the organisation.
- who ar luck or alliance exp leaders for uw.
You cannot expect a pug leader to lead.
There will be a shortage of emos and tanks because they"d rather just do uwsc terraway no?

I am also disappointed. I'm opting out. I was expecting organization. Not, "hey show up in int d1 and spam 'lfg' for 20 minutes." I was really looking forward to an organized event, not a flash mob. Although I think it's silly to expect a reward. The reward is you just cleared The Underworld.
Also, I don't blame Alfonso or [Luck] for changing to this plan. I expect they were overwhelmed by the response. Thanks anyway guys. I'll get some alliance mates to team up with me for my first Underworld experience.

Also not everything needs to be prized based, its stupid to expect people to give you prizes for something you are having FUN. Remember the event is supposed to be FUN. Also, by saying fastest team gets a ecto stack you are just stating stupidity since the Tway Exp teams will just win it.
But yeah, if you feel like it just try and do it, with more than 150 people already signed up. But since you asked "What organization" i will tell.
THe reason i made this a PUG event was that about 1 in every 7 people that contacted me will not appear and there will be about 35 people that will just appear in the event. Also now just so that think before you write you should ask people why they play guild wars. Well i would say that 99.99% of them would say FUN. Yes fun, not rewards, not money, not prizes, FUN. So shut up and don't come, people will be happy that you don't.
Also, noobs failing is due to happen. Even if i did choose all the teams previosly, noobs would still be there, and whatever you may think UW is quite easy. You just need a decent tank, the rest of the roles are easy peasy. And yeah even the tank doesn't need to be a pro, a Sin with SF + normal skill should manage fine. I, a noob sin, can tank and kill wastes in my sin and i can tank one of sides of 4 hourseman. And you know what, noobs are noobs, but they can learn, if they do something stupid explain to them and they wont do it again. The only reason you would fail was either:
People took quest, but then again, a person just needs to read the wiki, and you should always says: "never take quests" when starting the underworld.So yeah, shut up and think before you write.
Or someone DC's/Leaves which will be just as likely to happen if you PUG or if i organ

My group that I have organized (I have contacted everyone, I believe) will be doing a run at 3pm CST.
If that run goes well...we will be running a second group. We will be leaving from International 1 as well. My IGN for these runs will be "Drama Wars"

but not everyone is eager to pug. if you had organized this properly
then this would have been a succes.
however why i suggested a reward is to motivate people to play.
under the right rules YES you can make up rules duuuh.
you can prevent people from making uber teams.
like only 2 people with the same guild tag can join.
Fixed builds.
and some other things. some cool alliances knew how to organise this and they did succesfully.
it would be considered a challenge to make a clear fast with pugs.
excuse me but tanks do have to be exp. if one skele catch them they are dead meat. sure you can tell them to avoid skeles but bad luck happens.

but I play many hours a day.Tried the underworld with heroes, I am a ranger,
finished one level, no more.I know I have a lot to learn about the game so it would be unfair to join a team but on the other hand, HOW do you learn to
work in the team if no one will take you ? Tried to join a few times, took all the build from wiki but rangers are not popular.They keep asking- what rank are you ? If I say the truth, I get : then stfu. So, this opportunity seemed great ,contacted Alonso
immediately, he gave me a build with 3 ebon vanguard skills I did not have.
I played 12h for 4 days to get those skills, rushed through the mission even though I prefer to play slow and visit every corner of the map...Got them, whispered him a few times in game - he never replied.Not once.So I guess yes, it is nice of them to organize something like this but then again - they did not organize anything at all.Standing around and asking to join a team and feeling stupid - I can do that very well on my own
I know this is an "old game" and noobs are having a hard time but still, it would be nice to team up with someone who can teach you a thing or two.I see a lot of guys standing around saying - oh God, this is so boooring.
When I have a few years invested in this, I will make sure to be around to help some people, just for the fun of it.
