Question on spending TRP points

So I am a returning player after a long break.

I am having trouble understanding how to spend my one-off reward of 50 TRP from High Priest Zhang in the Great Temple of Balthazar!

What I want is the Dread Mask for 45points.

I am a PvE player in campain mode.
(I am currently working towards getting the Asuran title track armor, I have the Title, but need to collect or buy more monstrous fangs&claws)

Do I need to have a high level face armor piece beforehand?
If so, what level would I need?

Well, TRPs are only good for PvP rewards, so you can't get the Dread Mask on a PvE (Roleplaying) character using your free TRPs. What most PvE'ers do with those points is exchange them for Zaishen Keys at Tolkano (Tournament). 50 points will get you 10 keys, and you can sell them for around 5k a piece. That'll get you 50k closer to your Dread Mask in PvE or whatever else you want to spend that money on.
