Halloween Quests removed

Has anyone been in contact with NCsoft Support about the Halloween quests being removed after the Nov 2nd update.

I have been going back and forth with them over this. Because i had a finished Waiting game quest in my quest log. I had got disconnected while i was in UW before i could turn it in. I had not had the time to do it all again to just get back to talk to king frozenwind.

All i keep getting back from NCsoft Suport is a bunch of BS answers on how they dont have tools to fix it.

So i was wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

Holiday-related quests are always removed as soon as the holiday event is over, the only exception being The Waiting Game from 2009, which apparently was just a one-time deal to carry us over to the UW overhaul. So I'm afraid you won't get much of a response from either ANet or gwguru.

I'm with you though. I wasn't able to play much last week and wish I had a chance to try out the quests I didn't get to.

Actually, that's not true at all. All holiday quests are not removed when the holiday event is over. Until the quest debacle, I still had wintersday quests in my log from last year (I didn't have time to complete them, but I didn't abandon them because I liked the dialogue. ).

They have *never* been removed at end of event. This is a first. What generally happened is that key NPCs in outposts that let you start or finish the quests would be removed, making most (but not all) impossible to do outside of the holiday. They still sat in your quest log just fine.

The waiting game was designed so you would not need holiday NPCs to finish, as the quest was made to be finished long after it was given, and even longer after halloween.

As for 2010 waiting game, who knows. The logic that the reward was upped to 250 due to the temporary nature is particularly haunting.

hmm, when the login announcement said the event ended on Nov 2, that's sort of the way I took it.
