Mouse fail during gameplay.
Master Cougie
I've looked in search and can't find anything related to my problem.
At random times during gameplay (once per hour or so) my mouse won't respond to clicking, this also used to happen on my PC.
The only way I can "fix" the clicking problem is to Alt-Ctrl-Del and it would take 2 click attempts to open task manager, then its fine.
My PC runs XP SP3/ATI and my laptop (current GW machine) Vista SP1/Nvidia.
Anyone have any ideas? --- It's not the mouse, this is a fact. More than one has been tested

Cool Name
I used to get something like this. Turned out it was my anti virus popping up and saying something, but it meant I would be clicking on the anti virus window instead of guild wars. Maybe something similar is happening?
Master Cougie
My Anti-virus is set to hide, so it doesn't pop up. Also, I can't click anything if I minimise the game, the "only" way out is alt-ctrl-del.

check your USB socket, my broke some time ago and i blamed the mouse for it ^^

Possible driver issues? I use a Razer clone and sometimes see something similar.
P.S. No I don't

My mouse did the same as yours was doing. I changed the batteries in it, helped for a couple of hours. Checked for newer drivers, were none newer. Mouse bit the dust a couple days later. Now learning the game all over with no mouse. (Money is that tight around here.)
Hope you have better luck.

If you are using a "mouse driver" that came with the mouse, try uninstalling it and running without it. (Windows doesn't need a mouse driver - even some wireless mice work without one.))

I know you guys are trying to be helpful, but fixed income is fixed income. Internet is a luxury item around here. I hope, I won't have to sacrifice it soon. I won't share my complete financial situation with you, but when I have an extra $5 or $10 a month, a mouse is the last thing on my mind.
