Fastest Way to Get a Level 20 Phoenix?

Is there a faster way than taking it along doing missions/VQs/quests? I don't want to give up my secondary profession as I'm an AP Nuker :P

In the zaishen menagerie, you can pay a few silver z-coins to level him up.

1.5k balth per pet level is a joke, do that instead

You can solo farm the wurms just outside Boreal station, or run Kilroy's Punchout dungeon to level it fastish. The fastest is to buy it from the menagerie, but requires Silver Coins or Faction.

If you are in The Sulfurous Wastes in Nightfall and are vanquishing a primarily wurm based area taking your pet along levels it with no penalty to you at all. SS/LB runs are good for this.

cap them at level 5, take them to the menagerie and turn them in, and get rid of them. then go in and ask for the guy to spawn some, take BiP and 2 or 3 UA monks, disable everything else. Kill three of the spawns, then bip yourself to death repeatedly to death level the last one to level 20. Takes a half hour, and it's completely free.

From my understanding, the OP is an Elementalist/Assassin. Thus saying he is an AP Nuker.

This would only work if he was a Necromancer/Ranger or Ranger/Necromancer. Seeing as he would need BiP AND Charm Animal to get the pet once it is level 20.

If you have a Necromancer/Ranger or vice versa, then this would be good advice. Otherwise, spend the faction/silver coins. Fastest way.

As OP can create an pvp char to DL it, his prof wount matter shit. doing the dling (as seen on the doombox link) its free, takes 20-30 minutes.
also, kill any other pet thats in range, otherwise they will split the xp.

It is possible to level up pet if you take 3 UA monks as someone said, charm animal and the lowest AL as possible with few +3 runes, or just be without armor (55 armor + cesta would be gr8). Then just buy private shiro run (HM would be best bcs mobs attack speed is incrased). After cutscene just flag you heroes and attack phoenix once. Remember to unequip heroes' weapons. After you will die, you should have few hp points so you will be for 1-2 hits for phoenix (he will often attack you because hero will run away and you have lowest hp and AL). Now you can watch movie/play other game or just go afk. It usually takes him 2-3 minutes to gain 1 lvl, so in 30-45 minutes phoenix will be on 20lvl. Then you can charm him.
