Hello everyone, this is my first post on these forums
Now, I'd say about 2 - 3 years ago I left Guild Wars for WoW, I just reinstalled it about 5 minutes ago to give it another go.
I remembered my e-mail address, and got my password reset, but I don't remember any characters on my account so I can not answer the security question, and therefore I can not get past the login screen.
Does anyone know what I should do to get going in guild wars again?
EDIT: Also, just wondering is my e-mail address the same as my account login username?
Coming back after a long, long time

Basically it just amounts to proving that it really is your account.

Thanks for the reply, I just contacted their Guild Wars support team via e-mail, so hopefully I'll get a response soon

Don't freak if you don't get an immediate response -- support for issues like yours can be a bit slow on the weekends.

If your like me you accidently hit print screen at least once a day. Check you documents then downloads then guildwars then screens. If you switch comps since then try that one. Idk if it saves it though after you delete gw from comp though... just dig through your screenshots till you get lucky and find a chat log or party screen. Good luck.

Welcome to the forums.
If you have any old GW buddies that you used to play with who you know in real life, ask them if they might remember. If not, check your screenshot folder(s). If that doesn't work, resort to contacting Support and they will get back to you by Monday.
Keep in mind, however, if you contact Support, you will have to supply significant proof that the account is yours before they disclose your character name information.
Good luck.
