Fairly new and need help! :)

Well, im fairly new to guild wars, played over a year ago so i have forgotten pretty much everything

I was wondering, im lvl 10 atm, (nightfall campaign) when do i get my first elite skill(s) in nightfall? or should i already have one by now?

You won't see any mobs that have Elite skills till you do the Consulate Docks mission. The whole starter area is exactly that. A beginner's area.

Elite skills are skills you get usually when you are level 20. Other players that have played a lot longer get their elite skills at level 1 using Elite Tomes after their other level 20s have unlocked the skill.

Otherwise, don't expect to have an elite skill just starting out. You get them after level 20 normally.

Elite skills are captured from Boss creatures using a capture signet.
So until the game lets you buy a cap signet and you find a Boss your stuck.

Note
When you kill a boss activate the capture signet and it will list his skills elites will be marked as such.
You will only see this if your primary or secondary class is the same as the boss.

To gain elite skill that will be of use to your builds you may need to do some research.
