i would fall in love with Gw and guarantee a new mass population of GW, higher than GW2 ever will reach, if Anet creates the possibility to play your own Characters as Heroes.
That means, a Character can open a heromenue to select his own other Characters to play as Heroes for this Character. Each of his Characters can use his other Characters as Heroes.
Herocharacters must be lvl 20 and act as Heroes in any meaning. They do not get titles or quests and missions solved while being a Hero. Weapns, Artifacts, Runes etc can not be changed while being a hero.
a Class limit as written in another thread would keep mixed classes in the Characeters Herogroup.

A ton of work to implement something thats purely a cosmetic change for heros?

while i think that player character "henchmen" would be cool, why not just give access to PvE only skills on heroes? That really would be the only reason to implement this. This fact, coupled with this thread you started here about limiting hero classes to two max in your party found here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/h...t10458172.html
leads me to give you a /notsigned.

Well, for the time being, I guess you'd be right. Of course GW1 will have more players than a game that isn't out.

no thx, we get full hero party, thts good for alot of people, but then also possibility to use your own chars as heroes....? we get a new hero already (maybe more in the future)
it'll be a useless update, and way too much work, we will have GW2 completed at the time they would be finished with this one (working well)

It would be interesting but provide no benefit whatsoever. Thus /notsigned. Anet does not have time to spend on things that don't fix or somehow meaningfully benefit the game.
