Hey guys... Lately I've come back to gw after a few month break and well.. I just get random 007's. Sometimes it's in the morning, sometimes during the afternoon and sometimes in the evening. Consecutive 007's that keep me off GW for a few hours at a time. My internet is working just fine with everything else.. What do I do?
(I log on, choose a char, it loads, then I take a few steps and BAM 007. when I try to relog, it happens again.)
Random err007's!

to add to this, i also get 007'd quite regularly if i salvage items too fast.

Go into your GW directory and delete your GW.dat, then make a shortcut to your GW.exe and Rightclick->Properties. You will see an entry in there called Target it will contain the path to your GW.exe. it should look something like "...\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" after this put 1 space and type -image. For example mine when i do this looks like "C:\\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars\GW.exe" -image. If that doesnt fix it that will at least give you a fresh DAT to start with and rule out any kind of error in there causing this.
THIS TAKE HOURS!!! so do it overnight or something and dont blame me if you dont and cant play for 10 hours because of it
In my experience, though i've heard Arenanet denies this. MMO games in general use caches inside their container files. Occasionally these caches don't empty correctly causing the game to erroneously think your internet connection has been lost when they fill. This could be the case for you though Arenanet denies GW has issues relating to this.
In any case if this dont fix your problem then your problem is non GW related most likely.
This has long been an issue with GW since like launch... i think they actually fixed it now though and you get an in-game error rather then a 007

Reinstall a fresh DAT, also make sure your drivers are all up to date.
