"Oldschool" Eotn/NF skins

Ok, so after the whole Mausoleum farming debacle, we all know that Arenanet announced that triple-modded wands/offhands would be removed from the game.

However, is there any word on skins which have only 1 inherent mod (but can have a wrapping/core added), but which are from skins that cannot be found with inherent mods, like the Cloudburst Wand or Ivory Hammer?

Since these do not have stats which cannot be found otherwise, but they do not otherwise have inherent versions, will they be removed from the game too? How about scythes/spears with inherent mods?

I'm sorry if this question has been posted/answered before, but I did not find it during a quick search.

I don't know the answer to your question, but did ANet announce they were taking out triple-modded items??? All I saw was that they "ran a build to identify" them. I hadn't heard that they were going to remove them for sure. If that's been announced, add the link to the OP please? (Sorry, I almost never go read Riverside.)

Right, but the items I'm talking about aren't "triple modded". Here is an example:



As you can see, it has only one inherent modifier, no inscription slot, and allows only a wrapping.

Therefore, there is no way for this item to be "triple modded", but as it is otherwise impossible to get a wand with a single inherent modifier which can also accept a wrapping (because the inherent takes the place of an inscription, nothing more), will these items also be deleted?

We don't know yet. ArenaNet will make a decision eventually and let players know what that is.
