Zehlon Reach @ wiki: Starting from Blacktide Den or Beknur Harbor and arriving here via Cliffs of Dohjok will enable a party of 8 instead of 4.
But all my hench get cut off when i enter, what am i doing wrong or did they change that?

It should still work, as it's what I did as well about 2 months ago. Just make sure you are going through the portal in the center of the Cliffs of Dohjok and not through an actual town. If you run through a town your party size will be reduced.
