5 drop boss

I was doing a little farming last week, and I got 5 drops from one boss.... has anyone ever seen anything like this before?





This was even before the double green item drop weekend.

Yeah. Someone posted a screenshot in Grenth's Footprint where they got all 3 greens, a lockpick, and an Elite Mesmer Tome. I think that beats your screenie.

The scrolls are all random drops from bosses...each one has a chance all its own. Same with the green, the rare, and the collectible.

I went on a farming expedition in Grenth's Footrpint and Sorrow's Furnace, for old times' sake, and got this:

I've had double greens drop a number of times, especially in Grenth's, and I had two Kepkhet's Refuge drop in one kill.

Multiple greens are common in Grenth's Footprint and also from Kepkhet. But multiple drops from other areas' bosses is less common.

Yup, had all three of Thornbeard's bows before.

Just goes to show - the chance of a green dropping is in inverse proportion to that green's usability.

I've seen this happen so many times throughout my GW career. Nothing new.

ive had all 3 Rago greens drop several times.....those are woots

Even without x2 green drop grenths footprint is mad for greens - usually 4 bosses in easy reach , best ive had is around 6 greens in 1 run and usually you avg at 1-2 a run which if your elite tome farming ( which i was ages ago ) means you end up with a load of greens.Ive still a few of each green in storage from last yr.
Ive seen 1 green and 2 elite tomes drop for a guildie before but not yet been that lucky myself.

I had 5 drops from Lorelle Jade Cutter once. Longbow, bone charm, scroll, a dye and some materials, I don' t remember anymore if it was linen or silk or what.
Nothing big value at all, just fun to get 5 drops

I had a boss drop 4x the same item once

HAHAHA was it the exact same armor rating/salvage too? or were some whites and some blues?

Don't be surprised.

While normal creatures have a single drop or two at most (Well, sometimes another one when there's a festival), it seems that each drop in a boss has a separate chance. So may get them all at the same time.

Scar Eater used to do this plenty. I'm sure it still does, but no one farms it anymore . I should dig up a screenie or two. Best I ever got was probably a gold scroll, green, elite Monk tome, and one or two other trash items.

it was all whites, can't remember the rest though... couldn't check anyway cuz they were picked up by different people

Yes , it was quite common during this week end to get 4-5 drops from sorrow furnace boss in HM. Almost every boss did drop 2 greens , sometimes 3 ..
