Greetings,
The Everlasting Sacred Path is something more than just a guild. We are community of players who enjoy the time spent interacting with eacy other and playing the game of Guild Wars together. We also hold to a few tenets which may appear odd to some gamers.
1) You don't have to take yourself, or the 'prescribed' methods of play all that seriously to enjoy success in all levels of the game.
2) It's more fun to play around people who's company you actually enjoy and are good for sharing a few laughs than those who can leet haxor their way through the zone all by themselves while you sit and watch.
3) Pants and crumpets and vodka are all interesting topics of conversation and can often all be juggled in the scope of the same afternoon.
With that being said, anyone still reading beyond this point will likely want a few concrete details, and I shall be happy to accommodate that wish.
Our guild was formed in June 2005 and we have grown steadily and slowly ever since that time, with a close eye towards fostering a strong sense of camaraderie amongst the guild populace, rather than just chucking a bunch of people into a list and calling it a guild (not that anybody ever does that of course)
Currently we are around the 90 - member mark and we now operate two [ESP] guilds, within the same alliance, to help manage space when necessary. Generally, any secondary accounts or less active members who still wish to keep in contact go into the second guild.
Our guild has been a part of several different alliances in the past, but a few years back we settled in to creating our own Kurzick alliance, and it is currently full. We based our search for allied guilds on the same method that we use to search for guild members - who out there is fun to play with and can add a spark of creativity to the experience.
We have always had our own web site/forums which you may find here http://www.espguild.com. You will likely notice that we run a number of weekly and annual alliance events to keep things interesting. Anyone who hops aboard soon may make it time to take part in this years Halloween event *nudge nudge nudge*
We do have our own vent server. Also, several of our alliance-mates have their own voice chat capabilities, so there is pretty much always someone you can chat with, should you be feeling that particular motivation. However, we are far from being the type to require vent/ts as a condition of being in the guild. It's nice, and it is there for use. That is all.
Our member base is primarily spread across North America and Canada, with a healthy sprinkling of people from all other parts of the globe. Being large and active, it is fairly easy for someone from any part of the world to find people around to game with.
It also may bear mentioning that we have active plans in place to instill ourselves into GW2- once the magic genie is released and we finally get our wish of obtaining it anyway . . .
Enough particulars for one evening? Well, I invite you to check out our forums or else look about in game for me - Karuna Vajra - and we can discuss this interest that you have in coming along to take part in the guild shenanigans. I will also respond to pm's here, though the response time may be a bit slower than what you will receive if you hit me up directly on our guild site.
Hope you all enjoyed the read, and I look forward to seeing you in game-
Sincerely,
PvX Something different . . . The Everlasting Sacred Path [ESP]
Karuna
