Restarting GW to gain HOM Titles and Enjoy the PVE experience

Hello all,
Former player and had a quick question I am looking for a character easy to play, without too much spamming to finish all 4 PvE campaigns. I am just looking for a nice single player PvE experience.
I have read Warrior, Necro MM, and Assasian are good ways to go.
Anyone have a preference for me?
Thanks in advance,
Justin

For PvE, Warrior or Necros.
Warriors have some pretty nice gameplay choices, deal pretty heavy damage, can be outstanding team players if done right and in HM they excel as well. They're hands down my favourites. And the fact that you have to be in the enemy's face and not just sit back casting spells makes it a lot more entertaining to play with.
Necros are pretty good too, and they too have some choices for PvE rolling. The most used is obviously the Curses line with MoP, SS and whatever else in the bar, though they're not as damage capable as the warrior, but can be equally good team players although it's more of a hassle imo. But avoid MMs, they're great on heroes that can manage the minions pretty damn well, but for humans it's a lot harder and you're gonna get bored/raging fast with the minions AI. But mostly because MM kind of blows away the potential the Necro has for something that just doesn't cut it. You won't be doing much with them other than summoning/healing and watching them do whatever they want.
I hate Assassins, and since in PvE Shadow Form is the way only thing they'll be doing, meh. Don't like broken mechanics, hate having no real choices to play my character with.
But above all, it's what YOU like to play. You're gonna be spending hundreds/thousands of hours on that character, make sure it's something you're going to want to stick with.

I would suggest making one of each and playing through maybe level 5 on them (something that won't take long), to get a feel for whether or not you enjoy playing a melee class or caster class more.
Both of my survivor toons are warriors (and they can be a lot of fun), but my primary is a monk and has everything done but leg. guardian. I have a Rit that has about half of what the monk has done, and if I hadn't already started the drinking, party and sweet titles on him, would likely have played the Rit as my GWAMM toon. I have one of each class and just found that personally I liked being a caster slightly more.
With the seven hero update on the horizon (I hope), you should have little spamming ahead...just pick a class that will make you enjoy the game the most.

I wouldn't say any profession is much "easier" to play than any other. Most professions can either fulfill damage roles or support roles (or a combination), so it's up to you to choose how you would like to play the game.
I know some people who avoid melee professions (war, sin, derv) because they dislike having to run up to each enemy in succession in order to whack on them with their weapon. But others really enjoy this close quarters type of combat from previous fighting games that they've played.
In short, as has been said, try them all for a bit and see which one you like best to decide which you'll focus on.
And if that fails, make a warrior, cause they're pro!

If you have no characters atm... or many slots. Make several characters. Make 1 of as many classes as you can. That way you are not boring yourself with one character. Necro in my opinion is probably the more versatile of the 3 you listed as they can take on any caster roll with ease due to energy management abilities. Warrior > Assassin.

Please ignore his comment as only a small % of sin players in pve actually try and use sf ( exceptions are farming and speedclears but your wishing to do all campaigns so farming isnt the issue ) - most sins are used without shadowform and are generally a mix of professions like a/d crit scythe sin etc.
It boils down to using any profession for your needs - ive done all 4 on a sin ( without using shadowform ) and im working my way round using my title chr which is a mesmer and weirdly she found eotn and nf quite easy to do.

go ranger, you get a better view of the action, imo

Sins are actually alot of fun without SF.
In terms of doing damage to a single target, the Sin is up there with the best of them, often beaten most of them. I am a warrior guy myself and I like melee in general (minus the current version of the dervish). Can't go wrong with either Warrior or Sin.
In terms of Necros, let your hero MM for you, they are much better at using Death Nova, which is pretty much on 90% of all MM's bar. MM's are boring and doesn't require much to play one and again, heros are great at it.
IMO, Necros can get boring to play. Why?
Death Magic - MM is best for heros, Discord is very powerful in a team yes, but its one skill that spam over and over.
Curse - good variety here, but in most PvE areas, you will be only using a handful of the skills.
Blood - not much to look at, fun if you want to mess around, but not good for later stages of the game.
Soul Reaping - passive e-management, best ingame, but you don't really "use" it.
With HoM being account wide, its ok to have multiple toons, test them out and see!

this is just a depiction of my playing experiences when I started out.
Necro: SPAM FOREVER. INFINITE ENERGY. You can play mm necro slamming your fist into the keyboard.
Warrior: SPACEBAR 12..., SPACEBAR13..., SPACEBAR1.... run back and forth forever as monsters run past you! BLIND! SNARE! ERGGH I BUILT UP MY ADREN, FIRED OFF 3-5 SKILLS, BUT EVERYTHING IS ALREADY DEAD CAUSE EVERYONE IS FASTER THAN ME. (Don't bring up hundred blades or w/d, noobs aren't going to be running those builds till they already beat the game)HERP DERP.
Assassin: 123,123,123....13, shit, i messed up chain. Sh*t i have no armor. Sh*t my enchants got stripped are gone and now i suck.
Ranger: I have a pet. WOOOOOOO. IT DOES LIKE 10 dmg every 5 seconds, ZOMG.
Monk: Group:"We died, it's your fault dood"
Derv: LFG!

Mesmerizing lemon
lol at your warrior description, you clearly cant play one.
Warvic
You don't want spamming so don't take a assassin. So necro or war. It depends on ur prefered playstyle.

Warriors and necros are the best characters for HM stuff. So the best for gwamm imo. O
If you like casters more pick necro
If you like mĂȘlee more pick warrior
Both have many different builds. But not every build is "great", though that doesnt matter. Because pve is kinda easy

Go Necro. By all means, necromances are the PvE Gods.
discord and necrosis will be your best friends.
Since some HoMs requires farming (prestige armor/weps, hero prestige armor) you might want to have an ele or a sin (preferably), since they're the god farmers
