Wizardry Players Guild [WPG]

Formed when Guild Wars was first released, Wizardry Players Guild [WPG] is home to a solid group of adult members (at least in age) whose purpose is to have fun in the game. We are a casual guild, in that we do not have any faction requirements or obligations for in-game activity. The only requirement we have is that our members/allies comply with common sense guidelines pertaining to treating others with respect (for specifics, please see the WPG Rules of Conduct).

Overall, we are a group of light-hearted and fun men and women who do not shy away from lending a helping hand. We are also proud to have many long standing members who have remained with us for 3 years or more - a true testament to the bond between our core players. While we do not have a strict age requirement, we focus on the recruitment of mature people, 99% of whom are at least 20 years old (many members in the alliance being well in excess of that).

WPG is a North American guild, with active members in the United States and Canada ranging from the East Coast to the West Coast (GMT -5 to GMT -8). We are also the leader of our Kurzick Alliance, home to 5 guilds, with over 100 combined active players. Our main focus is the PvE aspect of GW, with adventures in all parts of the Guild Wars world (almost all in the alliance have all 3 chapters + EotN).

WPG has a fully stocked Guild Hall with all of the merchants and NPCs you would expect for an established guild. We also have an expansive web forum with over 35,000 posts, with sub-forums which provide builds for every profession, game tips & tactics, original in-depth role playing stories, game screen shots, an alliance trading post, a tech support forum, and diverse posts on hundreds of miscellaneous topics. In addition, WPG has its own dedicated Ventrilo VoIP server, for easy and fun in-game communication (free to all alliance members).

To find out more about WPG you can either (a) send a PM through the Guru forum, (b) visit the WPG Forum and create a post in the New Member Introductions section, (c) check out our official Guild Information Page, or (d) simply send an in-game PM to one of the following officers: “Pierce Longbow” “Ethrin Starseeker” or “Random Druid”.

We look forward to meeting you!
