I have Rank 2 EBVAS. How much better is EBVAS rank 10? Does it live longer in crowded fights? Right now it dies in 3 seconds.

Even if it dies fairly quick it is still drawing initial fire - assuming you're starting a fight by launching him in there. It's the same theory as minions and spirits, they're taking the damage instead of you.

it's worth it do fill some HM handbooks to get it to rank 10. From Rank 2 to Rank 10 you need about 150,000 points so that's 5 HM handbooks. Get 5 handbooks at the same time, keep 4 in storage, do the mission, change the handbook with one from storage, redo the mission. Rinse and repeat. Do this with all missions - best way to get to rank 10

Even at level 8 of Vanguard faction, you have a level 19 assassin who lives for 14/29 seconds and does a good job!

I run a AssaCaster Curses Assassin who uses Assassin's Promise to spam these guys and it's really a hoot to play. This is a truly great skill and well worth it to get to Faction level 8. Wouldn't stress going beyond that.

Ranger also carries one along sometimes. 30 second recharge is not that bad and helps get the enemy healer down fast! These guys are not infused but I have never seen one get blasted down.

EVAS is the most overpowered skill in the game. Even r2 ebon vanguard ranks pumps out a low level vinny with a built in knockdown. Using Assassin's promise I had 10 on the field against char 1 time with only r5 title.

With a Warrior that knows what he's doing, MoP is basically unbeatable.

PS: The last sentence says more about AP than EVAS.

In two years of AP'ing I've very rarely gotten >3 Assassins on the field at a time.

Anyway EBVAS is a superb skill, one of the best available to casters. Max Vanguard if possible, it's that powerful.
