New Quest - A good deed
Kook~NBK~
While out and about doing quests in EotN, I met Lt. Thackery outside EotN in Ice Cliff Chasms and he had the quest "A Good Deed." According to hte official wiki, it was added with the Nov. 18th update and replaces the Wintersday quest requirement for starting the WiK stuff. So now players have the option to do this quest instead of finishing EotN (but you still have to do the Vanguard story arc to get quest) to get the WiK stuff started.
I'm sure others already know about this, but I haven't seen one word about it here on the Guru, so I thought I'd share: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/A_Good_Deed

Unfortunately it seems this quest does not give access to the White Jingle Moa or Jingle Bear.

So this is the circumvention for the apple juice thing?

@RIGHTKaane
Why would it? It isn't a Wintersday quest.
If you want the Jingle Moa or Jingle Bear, just get in a party with someone who has them unlocked, and go out into Ice Cliff Chasms. They'll both be in the garden there.
The charm one, go to the menagerie, drop it off, and rinse and repeat for the other one.
Voila! Two new fuzzy pets.
@Saravok Thordin:
No, sorry.
This is a circumvention for not having done the Wintersday quest chain. This quest is exactly like Wintersday Cheer, except without the Wintersday part.
The "apple juice thing" (lol) is Thackeray's Scavenger Hunt, which is separate.

You can get the Jingle Moa by doing Lost Treasure of King Hundar
