Thanks for the kind feedback. 
I just feel a bit frustrated because I experienced a peak a month or so ago during which I felt like I was making progress technically. But now it feels like I havent learned anything new at all. XD I'm going to play around some more to solve this fluke and try to get back on track.
I toyed around with rosemary's portrait some more yesterday:
Now I'm going to switch character again and maybe try full body something. :/
@ Perynne: You mustn't feel like you owe me anything ^^' but of course I would love for you to sketch one of my characters if you have the time!

That looks absolutely beautiful! I'd love to return the favor if you do draw my mesmer but as long as you don't mind the timeline on the when and stuff..and my tendency to experiment which doesn't always yield to a better result than my previous ones ^^"

Wow! The latest pic was just... Smashingly stunning! Although it looks a bit like you got all "meh" on the shoulders. I really really like the hair and the little "fold" by the nose!

So realistic! Another beautiful picture, Tzu. The background, though undefined, adds so much to it, too. It's almost like a photograph. The glow of her eye is especially interesting. I was wondering how that eye would look finished. Stunning.

First time she's ever been illustrated by anyone, including myself! ^^ I really like your style, and the colour palette is spot on. She's so pretty 8D

humm, I tried something else for Mina cus I really wanted to make her look maleficent, but I think it detracted a great deal from the realism aspect. Nonetheless, here's what I had time for today, hope I don't disappoint you too much Raven.

Oo, more realism! <3 Again, beautiful! She looks very cool with that light source. Something about the side of the face (her right, our left) looks a little off. Maybe the angle at which it goes up by the eyebrow? I'm not sure (terrible at realism myself), but that's really just a minor nit-pick.

That Rit is very good, particularly the hair and the Mesmer is wonderful. I love the way you got that intense look in her eyes, like she's staring into my soul.

Raven thats a lovely one, the lips in particular are very nice and I do like the hair. I find the lack of pupils in her eyes very disturbing.
