Right, time for an update:
*Firstly, apologies for not clearing the backlog for a few days-have had a few exams recently. Hope this hasn't been to much of an inconvinience to you.
*Thanks to all the posters on this thread-we haven't had any real trolls, which i had predicted.
*Thanks to everyone for entering your district information. Everyone I have posted on the list has told me that anyone is welcome in the district they are hosting, to my knowledge.
*Thanks to all the guilds and alliances hosting the districts. Its great to see members of the community doing this every Canthan New Year. I'll definietely try to swing by some of your districts on the big day. Best of luck to all of you!
*Unfortunately I will be busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but hopefully i will be able to update the list.
*If any of your eye on a certain district that you would like to go to, please check the rest of the posts, as hopefully they have added a bit of extra information on how many finales they are hosting, what activities they are planning in the district etc.
*If any of you have yet to pass on your details to me for any districts you are planning to host, please do so before Sunday-I'm still going to update the list, probably until Sunday.
*Finally, I hope you all have a great weekend in Shing Jea Monastery during the Canthan New Year. Here's to the year of the rabbit!

Just some hints from the voice of experience. The tips below held us (DVDF) in very good stead where one year we did a total of 78 districts over the 24 hours with not a single meal missed.
Each district can only hold about 150 people. By advertising your districts early you run the risk of them being full, thus making it very difficult to get your givers to those districts on time. So either camp there early or announce them 15 mins or so beforehand(which is what we did).
It can take a lot of time to 'refill' a giver and check they have everything. We solved this by having dedicated players in the guild hall who would refill people right after each event. We found it took at least 30 mins to fill up everyone for a district and double check everything
If you find someone has 'taken over' your district either find another one or share it with them. There are plenty to go around.
Speaking of sharing, by sticking to one district you ensure the AFK'ers will get multiple rewards. If that's what you want to happen, then great. Otherwise consider moving to less populated ones to allow more people to reap your generosity.
Perhaps we should nominate a district where no ingredients will be given, as the consequences are a great deal of fun too. A regional District 9 or 13 perhaps.
Also consider a backup giver of ingredients for each district you do. if you DC or Err 7 you may find it impossible to get back in again and so your event will fail.
Hope this helps.
